Repels water ridiculously well. Provides additional coverage so if you are long and/or this is primarily for rainy weather then this might be the piece you are looking for. Breathes very well too. Super light-weight material throughout most of the jacket so definitely not a winter resort piece but otherwise I’d say a fairly versatile (3/4 season). Some room for layering for colder days but I’m thinking this piece is best coupled with a base or slight mid layer only. One thing to note, and this is not s knock on the jacket rather BackCountry.com, is that this jacket is NOT made with Gore Tex Pro. Was extremely disappointed as this feature was mentioned in the description or specs multiple times.

A fairly warm and stylish beanie. It's on the lighter side so not likely designed for the coldest/windiest days of winter but should serve you will on most occasions. It's very comfortable as well - soft to the touch and has not caused itching or irritation to any degree.

Without getting too wordy, this boot hits the mark in every category. They are tough, warm (winter snow shoeing) and really really comfortable. All while feeling relatively light. The have literally added mileage to my hikes. There is slightly more room in the toe box than I am used to but I'm not swimming because of it. Water repels well and after wetting out feet were completely dry.

This thing is off the chart comfortable and warm. It is a 200wt fleece and feels every bit of it and them some. It is not a technical piece but is absolutely perfect for around the house stuff and local errands late fall thru early spring or indoors when it’s really cold out. Runs slightly large but that kinda adds to the coziness of the piece. I think I’d still prefer if it were a little less roomy

Really pleased with all aspects of this jacket. Bought it for a recent snow camping trip. I already had a Rab Microlight but thought I may need a little more puff for this trip. Glad I made the purchase as it was definitely on the cooler side. It was in the mid-high teens after sunset and the wind was adding plenty of chill. With a merino wool base and Patagonia R1 I was all kinds of warm. I bought a medium and it was on the snug side but not at all restrictive. Exterior is really thin and it has a little bit of a trash bag feel to it. But it did seem durable enough and this is my only knock. Pockets are lined nicely and it packs down really well (into pocket if needed). The hood adjusts down nicely and is as puffy as the rest of the jacket. Total Michelin Man look by the way.

The Bivy is ridiculously warm. It crushes wind and I’ve yet to challenge it’s lower temp limit (only been down to low 30’s with a stiff breeze so far). It’s got an extremely durable exterior but a soft cushy feel when worn. The DWR treatment is on point as well - water beads up like no other garment I’ve ever owned. Pockets have a nice fleece lining. It’s just super comfortable and difficult to take off once I get to the office in the early morning. It does not cinch down anywhere but that’s to be expected with a casual piece. I would highly recommend this high quality jacket.

I bought this to wear around the house. It is probably a little too warm for summer (we'll see) but otherwise I'll use it year round. It is super soft and light weight but plenty warm - really really comfy. The fit is right on and it looks pretty sharp. I generally wear a medium and there is just a tiny bit of room for a T-shirt, perhaps a minimal base layer even. It hugs slightly down around the fore arms, in a good way. It's easy to pop on and off or slide a jacket over when walking the dogs.

This thing is stylish and functions as advertised. The zip out liner, durable exterior and bottle-cap opener exterior zipper are the high points for me. The holding capacity is deceiving, however. There is no way you're fitting 16 cans and even attempting to zip it shut - 8 cans tops. This cooler is best suited for one individual meal or swilling session

I pair this jacket with the Patagonia R1 as a base layer and am good to go no matter how cold it gets on the mountain. Looks great and performs better. And it is all kinds of warm (without overheating) and comfortable. Helmet fits well under the hood otherwise the hood is bulky. It is removable, however. Mobility is curbed a little while bending over but that comes with the territory on longer jackets. The liner is key and makes this a true winter jacket. As a shell the jacket is plenty water-proof and breathable but I really think the value comes while the liner is zipped in. Arms are on the longer side but that is a relatively common issue for me. Considering the price and the pros vs. cons I gave this a 5-star rating but if I could drill down further I'd probably rate it right around a 4.4 or 4.5

These things hit all points on my checklist. Great function, waterproof, durable and surprisingly warm. I wear only a Patagonia Capilene mid-weight thermal and I seem to be at the perfect temperature throughout the day. Plenty of pockets and they don't tarnish the style - great look and design.

I use this fleece while skiing. It keeps me comfortable, dry and warm. Great as a first or second layer (it's on the snugger side) but I'll bet it's great as an outer layer on warmer days. I'm going to work it into my early spring hikes and backpacking trips as well. This thing is awesome, really happy that I pulled the trigger.

These hikers are tough and comfortable. The fit is right on to maybe slightly narrow toward the toe end. They are on the lighter weight side but are built well and are definitely a step up in support from a trail runner. Sole grip and waterproofing are as advertised. Fairly breathable as well. Insoles are adequate, not much arch support to speak of.

This fleece has become my go-to mid layer for cool/cold hiking, skiing and rainy days. It's warm, comfy and moderately breathable. It is on the short side (no chance at staying tucked in). And it doesn't hold up to much without a shell but as a layer it works really well. Just the right fit - plenty of room for a substantial base layer and that's about it.

This jacket is great for all activities. It's light, packable, breathable, weather resilient and surprisingly warm. I generally use it as an outer layer and with only a t-shirt I'm comfortable down to low 40's. Balaclava-style hood is key as well. This thing really traps in the warmth.

This thing puts a smile on my face every time I put it on. It's mid-weight, soft and really comfortable. Great for winding down at night in front of the TV or running a last-minute errand in town. Classic look and great fit. The pocket seems a little wide on either side but no issues otherwise.
