I love these shorts! I was skeptical at first because I owned a pair from early 2015 and found out that they changed the shorts slightly in 2016 (a little less baggy and the inseam has been changed from 9.25" to 8.5". This is info I got from Gramicci's customer service.) After wearing these for a couple months, I can honestly say that I love the new style.

They dry quickly just as advertised and stay put on your waste thanks to the integrated belt. The new style also has a complety mesh pockets as apposed to the fast drying fabric pockets that they use to have. I prefer the new pockets because they dry much faster than the old ones did. The narrower fit also looks a little nicer and the Vapor Blue pair I bought easily pass as a pair of casual shorts instead of the full-blooded recreational shorts that they are.

I've used them around the house, walking trails with my family, and on a short kayaking trip, and they're a great pair of shorts for it all.

Quick-drying, comfortable, and good looking, I highly recommend these shorts.

I bought this for my daughter in the fall and it's lasted plenty of rough-housing outside and many cycles through the laundry with barley a sign of wear. It's soft, flexible, and great looking to boot. It's great for intermediate temperatures (high 30s through mid 50s) and is really nice for wearing in our jeep when the weather is freezing or below but a full winter jacket is too bulky to be safely worn in her car seat. The 18-24 month size perfectly fit my daughter in the 18-24 month period of her life. I absolutely recommend this fleece for anybody looking for a quality fleece for their young ones.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 185 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I bought my Columbia Silver Ridge Lite in "Steel" and sized medium. I'm an avid paddler, lift on a regular basis, and run 15-20 miles a week, so I'm broad-shouldered with a lean/athletic build. I wear large in most brands but medium in this shirt has the length of a large and fits the shoulders like a large.

So far, I've worn this shirt out around town and for hiking up and down beach trails. Even with its darker color, the vents and lightweight fabric kept me from overheating in the mid 90 degree weather in the Hampton Roads area. The sleeves have a buttoned keeper to keep them rolled up, but I wish they kept the sleeves rolled above the elbow instead of just at the elbow (a personal preference, not a problem with the shirt itself).

It has been thrown in the washer and dryer a few times and hasn't shown any wear. It hasn't gotten wrinkled so far with me taking it out of the dryer while warm.

I like the look of the shirt and my wife loves the color. The vents and overall look of the Silver Ridge Lite is more subtle than my Columbia PDF button-down shirts. That subtlety makes it a nicer shirt for wearing around town on a hot day without looking like you should be on the water fishing.

I bought the shirt in Lite Distilled Green. I'm an avid paddler, lift with heavy weight on a regular basis, and run a few times a week, so I'm broad-shouldered with an athletic build. I wear large in most brands but medium in this shirt fits me great. (If you're use to Columbia PFG button-down shirts, the fit is similiar)

I've worn it fishing from my kayak, hanging out at the beach, and out on the docks in the evening. It is very comfortable and the vents worked great in the high 90s heat we've had here in the Hampton Roads area. The sleeves are great for avoiding getting sunburnt out on the water and the buttoned keeper keeps the sleeves rolled up high when you don't need the added sun protection.

Its been through a few washes and isn't showing any wear. So far its has stayed wrinkle free when I pull it out of the dryer warm.

I love the looks of the shirt and have had enough compliments about it that I ordered the same shirt in Tubular Blue. I hope the Sol Patrol II style stays around for a while so that I can buy more colors in the future.
