Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I go on a lot of snowboard trips every year, and I have to say, this is the most well thought out board bag I have come across. I used this to carry two snowboards, two pairs of bindings, a pair of boots, all of my outerwear and most of my clothes for a two week trip to Japan. There are several carrying handles which make it extremely easy to load/unload your bag from the car and when moving on and off the subway. The length of the bag is adjustable, so you dont have loose, floppy ends at either side of your bag, which makes things nice and tight. There is also a shoulder strap to help bare the load when wheeling your bag through the airport. This feature really came in handy when we had to travel several miles by foot to get to our Airbnb. Finally, once you reach your destination and unpack your gear, you can roll the bag up and store it away, which saves a ton of space! If you are looking for a quality ski and snowboard bag, look no further!

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 105 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

Bought this jacket for my girlfriend and she loved it. She said it was super cozy and she loved the tapered look. It did run a little small. She is normally a small and we ended up needing to exchange it for a medium.

Fuse Brigandine

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 155 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

This is the nicest inbounds jacket I have ever worn. It is absolutely bulletproof and has tons of well thought out pockets and features. The Formfuse abrasion resistant fabric is no joke! I've put this thing through hell and there are no snags or tears. I love the fit. It contours to your body with a non-restricted athletic cut, and sleeved are just a tad long which is nice on powder days. There are even two small thumb loops on the outside of the jacket to prevent your sleeves from sliding up when you fall, which make it impossible for snow to get up your sleeve. If you're searching for the best possible ski/snowboard jacket, look no further, the Fuse Brigandine is the one! It may seem like a lot of money, but this jacket is worth every penny!

This Board RIPS!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought the Deep Thinker as an all mountain pow board and I absolutely love it. Good healthy camber between your feet keeps things feeling nice and stable, even when you're nuking through chunder. The rockered nose definitely helps with float on those deep days. You can literally ride this thing anywhere and it absolutely rips in powder. I will say it is a bit stiffer than I expected, which really just makes things more stable and poppier. I would consider this a must-have in your snowboard quiver.

Petzl Actik Core Headlamp

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If your looking for a good headlamp at a decent price, look no further. I absolutely love this little headlamp! I used it almost every weekend camping this last summer. It wasn't until I spent an entire week and Moab that the batteries finally died. The red light not only functions as a great way to see in the dark without blinding the people around you, but it also saves the battery life on your headlamp.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I absolutely love this thing! Used it for several week-long trips in Moab. I charged it before I left and only used half the battery life over the course of the week. I used it mainly just for charging phones, cameras and blue tooth speakers. I did not experiment charging with solar panels but I've heard they work great. It is about as heavy as a car battery so if you are planning on doing anything other than car camping I would definitely go with the lithium-ion version, as it is about half the weight, but if you are just car camping there is no need to spend the extra $150.

The Burton total impact shorts are comfortable and the g-form is soft and pliable. If its mainly tailbone protection you’re after, then these shorts will do the job. Overall comfort and feel is a big plus, sometime I ever forget I’m wearing them. Good for any riding conditions, I’ve been mostly using them in the preseason so far where snow levels are at a low, with an icy and firm base. I can ride with confidence even if conditions are a little on the harder side.
