The Black diamond Icon is a premium option and for the price, you cannot do better. With 500 lumens, it is extremely powerful. As in, I night ski in the trees with the bad boy and can see everything. This is a tool for that, mountaineering, bike riding at night, canyoneering and anything else where you need a ton of light. It is easy to dim with a glove. I highly recommend this headlamp.

This is the best toiletry kit I have ever used. It is durable and will last forever. The lower compartment is waterproof and a great place to put things that may explode. the uper compartment is easy to open up and access all your other items. I have tow. One for toiletry and one to organize little items that I take backpacking. This is another great gift for any occasion.

I bought this for my wife and here is her feedback:

I use this tumbler everyday for my morning coffee, whether it be around the house or taking to work. I've also used to for cocktails! It's double walled, so it keeps my coffee hot and cocktails cold for a really long time. Since it is stainless steel, you can wash it out easily and it doesn't keep a taste at all like plastic does.

The lid is open, like a coffee cup you would get at the coffee shop, so it isn't good for putting in your backpack. I've started taking this everywhere with me. When I go to order coffee, I have them use this mug to save a cup!

I bought this for my wife and this is what she has to say:

It's crazy how much I was using plastic cutlery and not even thinking twice about it. Now I have two of these sets, I keep one in my backpack and the other in my car, and I use them daily. Now every time I'm in a pinch and use plastic cutlery, I feel guilty! But I guess that is a good thing.

I do use them camping too. They are really lightweight and easy to pack. The pouch they come in keeps them all together.

I recommend these for everyone! Use them daily and camping!

This is my go-to beanie! It has some slouch to it, but you can roll it up if you want it to be more fitting. I wear it snowboarding and around town. It matches everything! I wash it in the washing machine and let it air-dry and it has kept its color and shape great.

Fit: Runs large

I bought this for my wife and here is what she has to say:

This is a great jacket, but it runs large! I'm 5'7", 135 lbs and usually wear a medium. I like my snowboard jackets baggy, so I ordered a medium and it's for sure baggy. If you're between a M and L, the M should work great. If you're a M and like jackets more fitting, size down.

It's an awesome 2L Gore shell. Cute and functional, not to techy looking like a lot of the shells out there. I wear it at the resorts and pack it in the backcountry, it's pretty lightweight. It has a drop tail in the back, so it's a little longer and has some shape to it.

I prefer shells so I can layer underneath. I'm able to wear a base layer and insulated layer underneath this without it fitting too tight.

I recommend this shell to anyone, skiers and snowboarders!

I bought these for my wife and here is what she had to say:

These are the best snowboard boots I've ever owned. Sure, they are a bit more expensive than some of the others on the market, but you get what you pay for.

I'm an avid snowboarder and go about 3-5 times per week during the season to give perspective on how often I use my boots. I also use them all the time for splitboarding.

My first pair of Supremes lasted me about 5+ years and I've had a couple pairs in between. I keep coming back to the Supremes for a few reasons:

- The medium flex of the boots fits my versatile needs perfect. I've never felt like I have to "break them in". They've performed great out of the box. They're also super responsive.

-They are comfortable and warm. The cushioning in the heel makes them really comfortable for hiking and my feet never get sore. Burton uses space blanket material in the liners and it actually works to keep your foot warm.

-The sole is $$. Ya it's not name brand Vibram, but who cares, it sure feels like it is. It is grippy, making everything easier from getting off the lift to hiking.

-Speed-Zone lacing. If you haven't tried Speed Zone, you've been wasting your time! It's easy, fast, comfortable and you can still personalize your boot tightness.

-Low profile. I still don't understand why some snowboard boots are so clunky. These are sleek and don't have any gimmicks.

I wear a larger 8.5 street shoe and have these in an 8.5. They fit true to size, it just depends on how you like a board boot to fit. You might be spending a little more money up front, but these will last you a lot longer than a lot of the snowboard boots on the market.

I bought this for my wife and here is what she had to say:

This is my go-to snowboarding base layer top. It's the perfect weight, on warm days I can wear it alone and on cold days I wear an insulator over it. I've had it for awhile so I've washed it lots, and it has kept its color and shape really well. I also use it as a layer for hiking or camping.

It's cute, unlike a lot of base layers, so I feel comfortable wearing it during apres. You could even wear this as a normal long sleeve if you want!

It runs true to size, I'm 5'7" and 135 lb and bought a medium. It fits great!

I bought these for my wife and here is what she has to say:

The only reason I have to stop snowboarding is because my hands get cold, and now that I have these I never have to stop!

They are super warm and durable. They are down filled with a leather palm and have touchscreen compatibility so you can easily use your devices with them on. They seemed a bit puffy at first, but get a little less puffy as you use them. They are great for super cold days and you can layer a liner underneath if your hands run extra cold.

I recommend sizing down, they seem to run a little big. I ordered the LAMB color and LOVE it.

Ice Breaker Merino base layers are wonderful. The material is incredibly comfortable. Nothing else performs better in terms of moisture wicking properties. The Merino wool that Ice Breaker uses also defends against odors super well. This is one of the few Ice Breaker tees that is still 100% Merino. A lot of the others have a small amount of synthetic blend for durability.

This t-shirt, the Everdyay Crew, has a slim fit. If you get it in the appropriate size, it is not too tight. It just isn't baggy. The shirt is tight enough to use as a roomy technical layer, but not too tight to wear in as an everyday shirt. If you want a tight fit, size down. If you want a baggy fit, size up. Otherwise, the Everyday Crew fits true to size. I am 5'10 and 155lbs and I comfortably wear a size Large.

The Burton AK Velocity Anorak Gore-Tex 2L Jacket is sweet! It is simple and so comfortable- Gor-Tex and waterproof.

this Jacket has a baggy fit and awesome shaped adjustable sleeve cuffs to go over your mitts. The hood is huge which is crucial for wearing over a helmet. The kangaroo pocket is so nice, as you can access it from zippers on either side of the pocket. Within this pocket is a little zipper pocket for your audio device/phone. In that pocket is a little hole for your headphone wires to run through the inside of your jacket and up to your ears.

The best part of the AK Velocity Anorak is the side zip access. Under the right armpit is a zipper that runs from the bottom hem, up to the top of the armpit vent for easy access. This allows the jacket to be pulled over your head with a helmet and goggles on, thus eliminating any inconvenience associated with conventional anorak jackets.

Bottom line, I highly recommend this bad boy. If you have any questions about this or any other Burton jackets please contact me at lmorris@backcountry.com.

The Burton Toursit the Burton Ion with a splitboard twist. It is designed for the aggressive rider who knows what he wants and is not willing to compromise.

This boot is extremely lightweight and it is stiff. Burtons have “Shrinkage” technology, which make them the lowest profile board boots on the market. The Tourist is the Backcountry version of this. You can count on it reducing your toe and heel drag one to two inches compared to other brands. This is crucial for riders who wear a size 11+ shoe.

I am very thankful that the shell has a fully plastic rapped toe cap, which makes it the most durable model to date. I have always destroyed the toes of my back foot boot from resting the edge of my board on it during chairlift rides. This is no longer a problem and after thirty days of riding, the boot is still good as new!

The Vibram sole is incredibly grippy for boot packing and the negative lean feature makes hiking and skinning much more enjoyable. This is Burtons best hiking boot. I recommend it for free-riders that boot pack the side-country as much as for splitboarders. It is not a boot exclusively for splitboarders.

The new Life Liner released this season is phenomenal. The moisture wicking material is so comfortable. This liner has tons of ventilation and is designed to breathe like no other. I have never experienced such dry comfort in a boot. This feature is essential for me, as I hike side country and do a lot of splitboarding.
The Tourist is very comfortable. Take my word for it and slip your foot into this mastery of snowboard boot technology.

If you have any questions on the Burton Tourist or any other snowboard boot, please contact me and I would be happy to help you. lmorris@backcountry.com

This is my favorite goggle I have had. It has a huge field of vison and a low profile frams so it looks super cool. Thae Magnetic lens attachment is second to none in lens swapping convenience. Anon's lenses are super quality. Having both a low light and a high light that can be swapped without even having to take the frame off your face is an amazing feeling. You will always be able to see!

If you have any questions about this google or any others please contact me and I will give you more information. you can reach me at lmorris@backcountry.com

I bought this for my wife and this is what she thinks:

"I live in this sweater, it's super cute! I like a baggier look, and this sweater is a perfect wrap to dress up or down. It has two buttons that you can use to give it a little more shape. It is also reversible.

It is styled super baggy, so I sized down to a small. I'm 5'7" and usually wear a medium, but this runs large."

I bought this for my wife and this is what she has to say:

"This is my favorite jacket. It is a styli rain piece that looks good with everything. I also plan on riding in this during the Springtime.

It is a shell, baggier fit with a pretty dramatic drop tail. If you like you can cinch it in at the waist to make it a little more fitting.

I prefer a baggier fit, so I went with the size I usually wear which is a Medium. This give me room to wear a heavier sweater underneath. If you want it to be more fitting and aren't planning on layering, size down."

I bought these for my wife and this is her feedback:

"I love these gloves! They are super affordable for what they are. They have the Gore membrane, are insulated, come with a glove liner and are in fun colors. They are a great all around glove.

These fit true to size. The glove and liner work with your devices, so you don't have to take them off when you're using your phone on the chairlift. I wear them with the liner on cold days, and without on warmer days for snowboarding. I've worn them for 2 seasons now and they are still holding up well.

Fit: True to size

I bought these for my wife and here is the feedback she has:

"I purchased this for a first layer snowboarding and it is definitely warm and great for cooler days. It's nice having the 1/4 zip since it is a thicker weight, when it gets hot, zipping it down will cool you off.

The fit is true to size. I purchased a medium (which I usually wear) and am 5'7", 135 lbs. It is longer bodied and has thumb holes which is nice.

My only complaint is that the wool is a bit itchy. You eventually get used to it, but it itches a little bit every time I first put it on.
