Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 128 lbs
Size Purchased: medium

I had to send these back for a few reasons.
1. The color is way off, I couldn't decide which one I wanted so I bought the blue and the green. The blue is a darker blue with a grey tint to it. The green is also darker, more like a dull emerald color.
2. The mesh liner made it hard to layer over a down puffy. I tried this on over both a patagonia hooded down sweater and fly low betty jacket. It has a mesh lining that seemed to stick on my jackets.
3. the fit. It has a more feminine cut, where it goes in at the waist. I found it to be a bit uncomfortable under the arms.
4. The hood. The hood is really weird. There is wire in the brim.
5.Zippers. there is no way I could zip it with mittens or even gloves on.

Overall maybe this would be a good spring/late fall hiking jacket, but I was hoping for a ski shell and it didn't work for that purpose.

The pockets are high so it would work well with a backpack or harness.

For reference I am 5-5, 128lbs, 34b chest. I was layering this over size small puffy jackets. I purchased this in a size medium and found it to be tight around the chest.

Disappointed. I purchased these in 110 cm (which is 43.3 inches). Took them out of the box and they felt a bit heavy for the price point. They also seemed long. I measured them and they were 46" but it says 110cm painted right on it. I'm sending them back, hopefully backcountry.com will refund my shipping because these are not as advertised.

the fabric of this is great, very soft, not too heavy. However, its really long in the back. It went almost mid thigh on the back of my leg. I am 5-5 130 lbs, 34b chest, straight figure, I purchased the small and it looked horrible. Built for someone with a curvy figure I suppose.

Have to return. I have 2 pairs of Olukai moc's and 1 pair of Oluaki boots. I ordered my usual size, 7.5 but they were too narrow in the toes. Cute style and color matches everything.

I found this jacket to fit true to size. I am 5-5 130 lbs and ordered the medium. It fit over my size small flylow betty jacket with no problem. I had to return it though. I have a siberian husky and the material of this jacket is a magnet for her hair. It had rough feeling to the material, unlike any other technical shell I've ever owned, and the amount of dog hair it picked up was unbelievable. Trading it in for another jacket.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

Purchased these camo sweats. They are nice and heavy, although I don't think you could wear them skiing or snowboarding as the cuffs are way to thick to fit into your boots. And too tight to hike them up. They look great, a nice slim fit. Only complaint is one of the pockets has a hole on the inside. I think it was just a case of poor QA. If you are looking for just something comfy to lounge around in, these are good. Just a note they are not soft fleece on the inside, they are a knit material.

These boots are very good looking. I usually wear between a 7.5 and an 8. I ordered both sizes so I could find the right fit, but sadly they both are going back. The 7.5's once I was able to get them on fit fine in the foot with an everyday gym sock. The problem I had was when I tried to walk- the area on the tops of the foot where the leather meets the rubber would bend down and stab the top of my foot. I could take maybe 2 steps comfortably. Then I tried the 8 and they were huge. I could not believe that it was only a 0.5 size bigger, I had to check to see that they had not sent me a 9 by accident, but it was an 8. The 8 was big. Both inside and just looking down at them they made my feet look huge. My feet were moving inside the boot when I was walking, and I did feel a little pressure where the rubber and leather met again. I don't know if over time when they break in it would go away, but for $200 I couldn't justify wearing painful boots.
They did seem like they would be warm and dry though.

Fit: True to size

These a great pants from volcom. While I thought they would be yellow, I feel like they have a greenish tint to them as well, but still look great. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable. I think they fit true to size, I purchased a med and get med in most ski pants, they fit in the waist but are slimmer throughout than any other pants I've owned. I'm a fan!

My only complaint, is there is only one back pocket, but no big deal. And backcountry.com has these in the insulated category, they are a shell with a light mesh lining. Certainly not "insulated".

And an added bonus- my siberian husky was running around brushing up against me and her hair didn't stick to the pants, like some others I have!
