Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 130 lbs
Size Purchased: medium

I am sending this back as it didn't quite fit.
Pros: very lightweight, didn't see any feathers poking out, nice olive color, generous hood
Cons: zipper kept getting stuck, seemed off from size chart

I'm 5-5, 130 lbs, 36b. Used size chart and said medium was 37" chest. I tried this on and it felt snug in the chest. I measured it and it was just under 18" from pit to pit. The listing said 24.5" inches long, this one was 26.5". It was snug in the chest and overall too long. If you had the right porportions this would be a great jacket.

I didn't see the previous review before I purchased this dress. As stated there are NO pockets. Additionally hard to tell from photo but the fabric is ribbed. Very weird. It fit fairly true to size, I ordered both small and medium and they fit pretty similar with the medium being about 2.5 inches longer.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Purchased this new for 2018-2019 season. Fit was good. Helmet is very light. However it did not hold up. It was used on one trip out to WA where it was in my checked bag. Helmet has numerous dents and one crack in it. I know bag handlers aren't that gentle but it was in the middle of my bag with nothing sharp around it. I will not continue to use because I'm not sure it is structurally sound anymore. Too bad because it looks and feels great.

I thought this was going to be black, but its navy. Other than that I absolutely love it. It had everything I wanted in a shell: powder skirt, arm pocket for a pass, interior pockets for a phone, pit zips, and cuffs that would easily fit over my mittens, and a hood that would easily fit over a helmet. And most importantly look good. This jacket is all of that. It's not too long like may other shells I've been trying on. I'm 5-5, 130 lbs and wearing this over a Flylow Betty down jacket. I purchased the medium and it easily layers, and best of all I don't look like a stuffed sausage. I was very hesitant about the price, but I have a feeling this will last for years.

Great pants! Fit is very flattering. Returned because I thought the Marlin color was light blue, but it was more of a green/teal color and looked funny with my jacket.

Very light, I purchased a medium (5-5, 132 lb, 36b) and it was a very snug fit. It would work well as a base layer next to skin or maybe over a tank, but I found it too snug to fit over another layer. The fleece was pretty light, I was looking for something a little heavier so I returned it. If you are looking for a light fleece top this may be it.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Nothing, these goggles are great. I was using the zeal voyager before and I find them to be the same size. What I like better is how the foam fits around my face. It feels great, I forget I'm wearing goggles.

I purchased this in a size medium. I'm 5-5 132lbs 36b chest. Medium was roomy to layer over. I probably could have worn a small but with just a light layer underneath. Flattering fit, however I returned this as the color on backcountry website was a color block style navy, red, and light blue. The jacket I received was solid colors. I ordered the "night blue" color. Blue on one side and light blue on the other. I was drawn to the interesting pattern of this jacket so I sent it back.

I was looking for a mid layer to wear under my ski shell. Originally purchased a medium, it was too small, backcountry was great about exchanging it for a large. But it still didn't work out.

Things I liked:
very high neck that you could easily bury your face in if it was windy or super cold. It was not too bulky.

Why I returned it: The sizing of this jacket seemed a bit off to me. I am 5-5 132 lbs, 36B chest. no real hips to speak of. I'm usually a small or medium in tops/jackets. When I tried on the medium around the waist I felt like a stuffed sausage. It was really tight. Liking the jacket, I tried a large. The larger was a little better but the waist sort of flared out in a weird way. There is no drawstring around the waist to cinch it. Odd fit. But if it did fit you, I think you'd be in love!

First time I can remember where I put on a bathing suit and felt comfortable. The material is very soft. The pattern is awesome!
And it just looks really good on. For reference I"m 5-5 130lb, 36b and purchased a medium.

I had to send these back for a few reasons.
1. The color is way off, I couldn't decide which one I wanted so I bought the blue and the green. The blue is a darker blue with a grey tint to it. The green is also darker, more like a dull emerald color.
2. The mesh liner made it hard to layer over a down puffy. I tried this on over both a patagonia hooded down sweater and fly low betty jacket. It has a mesh lining that seemed to stick on my jackets.
3. the fit. It has a more feminine cut, where it goes in at the waist. I found it to be a bit uncomfortable under the arms.
4. The hood. The hood is really weird. There is wire in the brim.
5.Zippers. there is no way I could zip it with mittens or even gloves on.

Overall maybe this would be a good spring/late fall hiking jacket, but I was hoping for a ski shell and it didn't work for that purpose.

The pockets are high so it would work well with a backpack or harness.

For reference I am 5-5, 128lbs, 34b chest. I was layering this over size small puffy jackets. I purchased this in a size medium and found it to be tight around the chest.

Disappointed. I purchased these in 110 cm (which is 43.3 inches). Took them out of the box and they felt a bit heavy for the price point. They also seemed long. I measured them and they were 46" but it says 110cm painted right on it. I'm sending them back, hopefully backcountry.com will refund my shipping because these are not as advertised.

the fabric of this is great, very soft, not too heavy. However, its really long in the back. It went almost mid thigh on the back of my leg. I am 5-5 130 lbs, 34b chest, straight figure, I purchased the small and it looked horrible. Built for someone with a curvy figure I suppose.

Have to return. I have 2 pairs of Olukai moc's and 1 pair of Oluaki boots. I ordered my usual size, 7.5 but they were too narrow in the toes. Cute style and color matches everything.

I found this jacket to fit true to size. I am 5-5 130 lbs and ordered the medium. It fit over my size small flylow betty jacket with no problem. I had to return it though. I have a siberian husky and the material of this jacket is a magnet for her hair. It had rough feeling to the material, unlike any other technical shell I've ever owned, and the amount of dog hair it picked up was unbelievable. Trading it in for another jacket.

Purchased these camo sweats. They are nice and heavy, although I don't think you could wear them skiing or snowboarding as the cuffs are way to thick to fit into your boots. And too tight to hike them up. They look great, a nice slim fit. Only complaint is one of the pockets has a hole on the inside. I think it was just a case of poor QA. If you are looking for just something comfy to lounge around in, these are good. Just a note they are not soft fleece on the inside, they are a knit material.

These boots are very good looking. I usually wear between a 7.5 and an 8. I ordered both sizes so I could find the right fit, but sadly they both are going back. The 7.5's once I was able to get them on fit fine in the foot with an everyday gym sock. The problem I had was when I tried to walk- the area on the tops of the foot where the leather meets the rubber would bend down and stab the top of my foot. I could take maybe 2 steps comfortably. Then I tried the 8 and they were huge. I could not believe that it was only a 0.5 size bigger, I had to check to see that they had not sent me a 9 by accident, but it was an 8. The 8 was big. Both inside and just looking down at them they made my feet look huge. My feet were moving inside the boot when I was walking, and I did feel a little pressure where the rubber and leather met again. I don't know if over time when they break in it would go away, but for $200 I couldn't justify wearing painful boots.
They did seem like they would be warm and dry though.
