For the first 2 months, these were my go-to climbing pants. I really liked the zipper pocket for my phone, but within 2 climbs I noticed a hole growing. Now I don't put anything valuable in that pocket. Fast forward a couple more months (no more than 6) and I have holes in my butt, side pocket and both knees. While these pants are really comfy and nice looking, they are not for anyone who crack climbs.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Several of my friends have this harness, so I thought I'd try it out. I was tired of my BD harness loosening every pitch and hurting before the end of the day. That said, the sizing of this harness seems universally too big. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs and I fit the XS (I got both sizes and have to return the S). I'm typically a S in all other cases and I even measured myself since I had heard this harness runs big. I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm assuming it'll be better than my last harness. I guess if you're around my size, get an XS?

The pants fit really well and I love the color of mine (red). I've worn them nearly every time I've gone climbing for the last 6 months, so as expected they've got holes in the knees and a cool groovy patch as a result. My only complaint is that the pockets are too small for my phone to sit securely. If I can manage to get it in there, the snap buttons always open up, allowing my phone to drop 115 ft. Yep, that happened and the phone still survived. Seriously, why aren't there more women's pants that have larger pockets with zippers?! Relying on my partner's phone for the topo or ripping out pages of the guide book is less than ideal.
