Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
This coat is nicely designed and well made, but the reason I'm not giving five stars is that it is only good for temperatures above 39 degrees - so not really a winter coat, but more of a transitional season coat. The good things: The shape is tapered, it is lightweight and a good shade of black, the pockets are a reasonable depth, and it has no down, so feathers coming out is a non-issue (thankfully). Also there is no distracting hardware - the zipper is blended, and the pockets are open. The issue is that it simply isn't warm enough for temps in the mid-30s or lower. I kept it because here in NYC we have a lot of days in the upper 30s-40s range, and the fact it doesn't shed is an advantage, but I've since bought another coat for cold winter weather, since this one will be insufficient for that.
