Lisa Edlund's Bio

I can't get enough of time spent outdoors. Salt Lake City is the perfect place for this and thankfully this is where my parents raised me, and I currently live. I love getting out in the Wasatch, skiing, hiking, climbing, or just sitting by a mountain stream. Most of the time, I have one or all three of my kids joining me. I love camping, and backpacking all over the Western US but prefer staying in Utah, either the Uinta Mountains, or Southern Utah Redrock. I am an avid backcountry and alpine skier. I taught skiing at a local mountain for 13 years before moving to a desk job here at Backcountry.com

Easy set up, and sturdy. The individually adjustable legs are awesome when you are trying to cook on uneven terrain. I found this really easy to clean, set up and take down. it fits perfectly in the storage sack which has separate compartments for the table top and legs so you can keep your eating and cooking surfaces dirt free.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is by far the best car camping stove I have owned. The primary reason for purchase was that it uses the refillable propane tanks that your backyard grill does. I purchased a separate smaller one for this purpose. It has plenty of cooking room for full sized pots and pans, simmers amazingly low and boils water rapidly. It is well made, light and the piezo ignition is easy to use!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great light. It charges fast(no need to buy batteries woohoo) it is comfortable when wearing on your body and can easily adjust to a large size range. The multi color function as well as two strobe options is easy to use. I highly recommend this for anyone who is outside in low light or high traffic situations.

The buckshot is a must have. Don't let the small size fool you. The sound quality is great. It will not travel far however which makes it perfect for hiking, skinning up a mountain or biking around without disturbing the quiet of nature. Charges fast, lasts long, works great at high elevation, high and low temperatures. Indestructible.

If only they made them for women. I have bought many pairs for my man I love these so much. This particular model is a little longer than most of thier options, at 7 inches they are ideal for under shorts or with nothing else under a pair of ski pants. Super soft, extremely comfortable, easy to wash, quick drying. Did I say super soft?
