You really can't go wrong with a Nano Puff. The PrimaLoft synthetic insulation is perfect for keeping warm while also regulating temperature. Great as a ski midlayer, extra hiking layer, or just wearing around town! The synthetic insulation makes this jacket super lightweight and versatile. I generally prefer to wear my Patagonia Down Sweater Jacket on super cold nights at camp, and this Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket during my more active pursuits. Get this jacket, you need one!!!

It's still mind-blowing to me that they can make a product this light and packable, while still being great quality. You won't even notice this in your pack. You will notice how great you slept on it though! It does take a while to blow up, I should mention, but it kept me off the ground and warm. I toss around a lot in my sleep and it was still super comfortable! The material does sound a little krinkly, but that doesn't really bother me! There are more comfortable/warmer sleeping pads out there for frontcountry camping, but you really don't get any better than this for ultralight backpacking!

This pack was great for a two night trip. Plenty of room for gear and easily accessible. The removable brain pocket is very nice and allows you to break down to a smaller size. The ventilation system on the back kept me nice and cool, even in the intense alpine sun. Hip pockets would be nice for snack and other things you might want accessible while walking, but all in all, a great pack! Will use again and highly recommend.

There was a lot of thought put into the design of this tent. It tapers at the feet and has the 3 pole system to save weight, along with some other cool features. The stuff sack is designed so that you can split the load; one person carries the stakes and poles and one person carries the tent and fly. My other 2 person backpacking tent weighs 5-6 lbs, so switching to an ultralight tent that weighs 1-2 lbs made a big difference, both in weight and space. All in all, great tent with well thought out features!

This jacket is incredibly versatile and convenient! It's packable, warm, and breathable, making it the perfect layer for outdoor activities. Wear it on its' own, throw a rain jacket on top, or stack on some layers, you really can use it in any season.

If you're looking for blended comfort & performance for outdoor slab and cracks, these are a great option. These shoes seem to achieve a good balance of support and comfort with the stiff sole but superrr comfy suede upper. I'm still looking for the perfect slab/multi-pitch shoe, but these are a sure contender!

This pack has a ton of cool features that help keep you organized and efficient, whether you're multi-pitch climbing or just spending the day sport climbing at the crag. The internal gear loops help tremendously with keeping your rack organized inside and multiple pockets can store small items like your phone, keys, and snacks. The stowable straps and pocket are super convenient for multi pitch climbs too. Overall, super durable pack with a lot of thought put into the design.

This jacket is the perfect versatile option to keep stowed away in your pack. It's super lightweight and packable, while having surprisingly good wind protection and some light rain protection for your rides. I've also worn it climbing a couple of times and it performed well for that too! It has a slim fit, but I would still go with the size you'd regularly order.

This jacket is perfect when you're looking for just a little bit of warmth on those windier, slightly chillier days spent outside. It's lightweight breathability is great for your hiking/climbing pursuits when you're looking for temperature regulation. Arc'teryx, once again, makes another high quality stylin product.

Having a lightweight/compact/weatherproof solar panel when you're traveling, camping, or backpacking is a super nice luxury to have. Simple, functional, and high quality design is something you can count on from Goal Zero. The zipper pocket, kickstand, and magnetic closure are all nice features. I'd strongly suggest getting a power bank as well if you want to be able to store a charge.

I tried out this pack as a lighter, smaller alternative for overnighters and climbing approaches. 38L ended up being the perfect volume for what I was using it for. Having a lightweight pack like this is so nice for your shorter, more minimalist adventures, however, I noticed that it seemed to carry a little too much in my shoulders when it was packed a little heavier. As long as you pack light, this backpack is going to be your new overnighter favorite!

This tent was exactly what I was looking for: lightweight, easy to pitch, waterproof, and good quality. The price tag also isn't bad for the ultralight convenience! It'd be nice if it came with a footprint, but I had one already that I use if needed. It's super quick and easy to set up solo too. You can count on Marmot to make a quality piece of gear like this one!

Comfort and quality is what really makes these leggings great. They're a super soft, stretchy, spandexy material. The triangle gussetted crotch allows for so much mobility too! One thing is, though, that even this 7/8 design is still full length on me, and I do like the slightly shorter design. You can count on Prana to make some quality pants though! I'm generally a size 2-4 and the size small fits perfectly!

There's nothing better than a good sweatshirt. This crewneck is it. I love the look of it (I got the Tasmanian Teal color) and it's super comfy! It's a heavier weight sweatshirt, which makes it feel/look higher quality than most.

This puffy blanket is such a great addition to your car camping/frontcountry set up! It's super packable while providing lots of warmth as well! I used this blanket to line the bottom of my tent for extra warmth in the tent on those super cold nights. It's also perfect to just wear around the campfire! This is going to be your new glamping favorite.

This bag is top-of-the-line when it comes to warmth. The warmth to weight ratio is pretty awesome if you're doing some winter expeditioning (or just sleep really cold)! I'm a big fan of the middle zipper design, because it makes it super easy to zip/unzip without fumbling around trying to find it. This bag would be great for -20 to 10-15 degrees. Using this bag in 15 degrees gets pretty toasty though, so you'd definitely want to keep the zipper open to vent. Overall, a worth-while investment if you're planning on camping like a warrior in those freezing temps and actually want a good night's sleep!

This headlamp is a great, simple headlamp that gets the job done well. It has all the features you need, and nothing extra. 250 lumens is more than enough for most camping/night trail excursions. I also highly recommend purchasing the Core Rechargeable battery, since it's super nice to be able to charge in your car if you forget batteries.
