Lin Belarge's Bio

I have been skiing since age 11 and boarding since age 29 and cycling since 15. I love the North Face products and have accumulated quite a collection. When you find something that is constructed well , does its job and fits like a glove you NEVER go back to another lesser quality brand, that's for sure.

The North Face does it again... I use this top for cycling and for training at the gym. It wicks away the sweat beautifully and the lines swerving down the torso are very slimming. I get a lot of compliments on it. Great breathability and quick to dry. BUY ONE IN EVERY COLOR while they last...! You will not be disappointed!

I have had boot pain since I began snowboarding 11 years ago, crippling, tear spilling boot pain. Across my veins in my feet and in my calves. I searched many brands and styles of snow board boots. I found these Northwave boots in a snowboard store that was going out of business. they are the most plush and comfortable thing I have ever stepped into for Winter Sports. I realize that everyone;s feet are different but these do NOT cut you across the top of the foot's arch where your laces would be the tightest if you are going to strap down hard. This boot is very lightweight yet warm as toast. The pull one string tightening system for the inner liner works wonderfully. I am FINALLY happy in my snowboard boots. Give these a whirl if you are trying to find comfort! Don't let the price fool you, THEY ROCK!

This Pandora back pack is very versatile. I get compliments every day I use it. Great value for money and it performs well in yucky weather unlike a leather purse would. I use this for a day pack while snowboarding if I do not feel like getting a locker at the mountain. the hip belt can be a huge blessing when riding a snowboard, but if you don;t need it you can remove it. Rain seems to be no issues for this little lifesaver. The contoured shoulder straps are quite comfy and this bag has lots of room, it is very deceiving. You will love it and the price is right. This is definitely a nice fit for a woman. When the weather warms up I will use it on my mountain bike as well.

I just have to say that I use this shirt (the non-hoodie version) at the gym when I spin because I want to sweat and have it wicked away so I do not get a chill and BOY O BOY is this thing spectacular. I seriously think that the people in the gym must think I wear this shirt every day. It is so practical and does it's wicking job so well that I just can't get enough of it. I think I shall buy the hoodie version today. The thumbholes are great for cycling because they give you that extra tiny little bit of padding right on the fattest part of your palm where your hand begins to fall asleep from the pressure of holding onto the handlebars for too long. I also use this shirt as the innermost layer for snowboarding. It is very versatile and wonderfully comfortable up against the skin even when soaking wet! you will not feel the sweat on your skin! As I say about all my North Face items, you will get MANY compliments when wearing it. The fit is just spot on! Do not hesitate to pick one of these up unless you live on the Equator and don't need one. EVERYONE ELSE, BUY TWO!!!

I have to say that I thought this jacket would be WARMER than the Apex bionic but it definitely is lighter and not as warm. It seems to move a little more easily and is not as rigid though. Amazing construction and even the inside lining of the neck seems to make the rain just roll up and bounce right off when the zipper is down and lining is exposed. I bought this jacket at half price in a clearance color and it is really great looking and gets lots of compliments. Use it for layering or for 35-50 degree weather for sure. I have worn it over a North Face Flight Series long-sleeved top in 38 degrees and been fine. I love the velcro arm closures. These light to medium weight jackets make a fantastic under coat layer for uuber-cold skiing and snowboarding days. The one drawback on this jacket for me is the fact that it has NO HAND POCKETS ON THE WASITLINE and I find myself constantly looking for them when wearing this about the town. However, the breast pockets have been enlarged and the zippers moved to the outside chest and they are enormous pockets. This is a fantastic layer, you should own it for sure. You will always find a use for it!

I use this jacket for coming and going to the gym in wintery weather when my inner NORTH FACE layer is covered in wicked away sweat. this jacket looks great and is super comfortable. I love the thumb holes and I also use this as a layer between underlayer and jacket when snowboarding on uuber-cold days. I wish it came in 15 colors because I would buy all of them... you will not be disappointed with this light jacket. The lining would allow you to use it for running in colder weather or even cycling. very versatile and practical. BUY IT!
