I own 4 KT base layers !!
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 133 lbs
Size Purchased: small

I own four Kari Traa baselayers, including this Rose hoodie. I love that these are not only warm, functional base layers (or even layered over a tank) for colder weather activities, but that they can also be paired with jeans. I'm not very tall (5'3") and while the fit is great, I find the length a bit short in the torso. I have coverage, but I would be concerned about anyone taller that is trying to tuck this underneath their pants or bending over. I would opt for longer fitting base layers for (ice) climbing or skiing than KT. For snowshoeing and hiking you won't be bothered by this unless your pack bunches it up and isn't adjusted right.. You can't really pull the sleeves up much either. However, despite these ergonomic and design drawbacks, the fabric is soft, supple, keeps me warm and washes well. One of my friends' boyfriends bought her a KT base layer and she loves it. She's a bit shorter than me and the length looked great for her. The picture shows a different product, but shows how the length is.

Cute and comfortable
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 128 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I bought these for the design more than anything. I use them at the gym mostly vs on any outdoor activity since they aren't as durable and I'm afraid to get a pull or nick in them. I wouldn't climb in them or do any hands-on scrambling to ensure I keep them intact.

They aren't anything above and beyond any other comfortable form-fitting tight, but Terez has some cool, unique designs and I would buy a whole lot more pairs if I had more $ and didn't already own so much gym wear.

With the exchange rate (I'm Canadian), it was a a bit to swallow, but if they are on sale, buy them for sure. I haven't seen anyone else with these tights, so unique factor is high.

They are thin and light and a bit see-through, so a light coloured thong is best underneath.

I own two pairs
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 128 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I purchased the pink in medium about a year ago and used them for ice climbing as an outer layer all winter plus some scrambling this summer. They are overall durable, fashionable and comfortable. The pockets are extremely functional for phones, credit cards, keys, etc. I haven't found a good use for the one at the back yet...

The only issue for me is that I'm a bit shorter, so they run on the long side for me. I bought the medium so I could wear a base layer underneath, but I can wear them without one as well. I prefer them as an outer layer since they are fairly heavy and don't feel as nice against the skin as a yoga pant or tight. The length works best on me with mountaineering boots vs hiking boots or approach shoes.

Detailed critiquing aside, I bought the turquoise as a second pair because I love this pant so much. The colours make me more visible as well. Well designed and comfortable, I highly recommend this as a similar product to the Patagonia Guide Pant with a bit more colour.
