Functional, Snowbunny Style
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 6"
Size Purchased: 6

The color and material of this jacket is beautiful; perfect for the female who wants a fashionable jacket for both resort skiing and apres. A nice feature is the zip off powder skirt and the ability to remove the fur hood. This jacket is impressively warm with 40% Primaloft insulation / 60% water repellent down and I dig that the collar comes up high to keep out chilly drafts. I generally wear a woman's size small / 4 on top. I got this jacket in a size 6 which fits perfectly with a base layer underneath. If you want a more relaxed fit and/or plan to wear something bulkier, you will need to size up.

Pros: Soft, Lightweight, Warm & Waterproof

Cons: Would have liked a lift-pass pocket

I do quite a bit of winter hiking and I don't leave without these in my pack. Prior to using these, I used YakTrax and they failed a hundred times (bungee slides over the toe with any decrease in elevation... annoying when traction is what you're after). I can literally walk on a straight sheet of ice, with confidence, when wearing these. I wouldn't be without them in the winter!

This jacket has virtually replaced all of my other outdoor/adventure jackets. It is super light, packs down with plenty of room in a daypack and it is every bit as warm as my Patagonia packable down. I've recently worn this jacket in the desert (in the winter months) and was warm with only a thin athletic shirt underneath.

Happy with the quality of the bag and it is indeed cozy. Took this bag camping in Moab where the temps were in the 20s. I was dressed for the cold and FROZE in this bag; not confident about the temperature rating but would be comfortable in 30-40 degree temps.

I am an avid runner and hiker who doesn't like to carry water when I'm doing either activity which is a good reciepe for degydration when covering several miles at high altitude. I love to drink this several hours prior to or just after my runs/hikes to ensure I stay hydrated. A little on the sweet side for the recommended serving size; I cancel this out by mixing with additional agua and I'm set.

Joules makes the cutest rainboots; hands down! The prints are gorgeous and they aren't clunky like most rainboots. I typically wear a 8.5 and the size 9 is great; especially when planning to wear a thicker, tall sock to get your toes warm. I've gotten a million compliments on these since receiving them; depending on your style, they make both prints and solids -- love them all!

Pros: Super cute, quality. perfect height (these are tall boots and hit me just below the knee i.e. they don't break your leg in a weird place making you look squatty), excellent fit (I have small calves, however I don't forsee any issues for those that typically have fit issues with tall boots because of the width around the calf area -- not tight at all), AND they don't have that annoying squeeky rainboot thing happening,

Cons: none -- ya really, none.

I own both the 60L and the 90L and I can't say enough good things about this bag. Durable and packs a TON. Love the backpack straps for versatility and easily getting you from point A to Z. You're going to want to dump your old luggage & get one in every size :: two thumbs up Patagonia!!
