Laura T.'s Bio

I love adventures! A good hike, great skiing, and traveling are some of my favorites. I ride horses, figure skate, sail, play hockey, ski, and I'll occasionally strap on a snowboard. I'm not too picky in my activities as long as it includes an adventure with people I love. If my dog can come that just makes it perfect!

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I have high expectations for arc'teryx clothing. This jacket does not quite make the cut for me. It is very wind and water proof, so if that is what you are looking for give it a try. The pockets are not really functional enough for me to ski with, it really is more like the best ever rain or storm coat. It is nice and light making it easy to pack, but this coat has still not made it to a "go to" in my collection.

Best Ski Jacket Ever
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

This jacket is still relatively new to me, but it has been put to the test already. It held up keeping my core warm skiing multiple -20 degree days in a row. I was stunned when it finally warmed up a bit, it truly is the only shell that can be kept on during a difficult hike or a warm heavy powder day. When I first put on the jacket I thought the arms were going to be too long...when I layered up for our share of the polar vortex my arms magically could still move and it was a great fit.
