Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Open disclosure: I'm trying to replace one of my absolute favorite cycling specific items of all time (which are no longer available), Ibex Wool Knee Warmers. This pair from Mavic fall short in every category. They are paper thin - as in wore them sitting in the house, and they barely created more warmth than without. They have zero retention system to keep them in place, which means that with the most subtle movement - they want to fall down. I do understand that they'll be tucked under my riding shorts, but again - compared to my ol' trusty Ibex... they fall short for sure. If you are looking for the ultimate in a minimal design; these might be worth you looking into, but just know a head of time - they really are very very minimal in every regard.

p.s. - if anyone knows where I can pickup a pair of L Ibex Knee Warmers, please feel free to share!!! Thanks!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

One of the most annoying things to happen during a day of running laps of Pow, are to find you socks falling down the whole day. That is exactly what I have found to be the case with these socks. The sock height it just short enough that a size large doesn't fully make it over the calf, which really keeps them in place. I have multiple pair of Burton winter socks - and each one of them, stays put for the entire day .

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

So, I've been trying to replace an ancient pair of Gore winter gloves for years now. These seemed to be the winners! I literally ordered a pair of these in the same order as a pair of the Giro DND - both size L. The DND fit perfect! But these are cut long in every finger comparatively. Bulky enough - that I had to send them back. Bummer, as they feel Great out side of the fit.

Be mindful of the difference, as you'll end up paying unnecessary shipping charges to return them.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I’m not a park or rail rider so take note. But outside of that this thing is fantastic once there are a few inches down. I picked this up to fill in some gaps where I wasn’t able to get the skill set needed to feel extremely confident on my 168 Flight Attendant. Additionally, I was worried if the Fish would a) be enough of a difference, from the FA b) suffice at the 161 length for a guy my size. Needless to say - even as a large rider the Fish stays afloat with ease. And that short little stubby tail, easily allows transition from carving to snow surfing with the flick of an ankle. This thing has been so awesome that now I’m on the lookout for another board that feels more like the Fish, and can be used as an all rounder. That might be the Flight Attendant, but I just don’t think I have enough skill set for it yet.
