Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small

These shoes are awesome for cracks. I was a little skeptical at first, especially about how much they would actually stretch. They still seem like they run a bit small to me. But they truly did stretch about a size and softened up a lot, making them perfect for jamming into cracks. So far, the flexibility is great.

However, they suck for gym shoes (not sure why the product description suggests that) or any sort of face moves or tiny cracks. The rubber isn't all that fantastic, they're very flexible, and have no edge, making face moves or hard gym climbing rather difficult. The toe box is also wide so I imagine they're pretty difficult in tiny cracks.

But overall, comfortable, seem durable, and excellent in cracks!

I've always wondered the best way to deal with a bunch of spices while camping, and GSI definitely nailed it with this one. I love how organized my kitchen supplies are now! The only downside is that it's a lot smaller than I expected, so I'm guessing I will be refilling the spice compartments often.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 9"
Size Purchased: Medium

I bought this wanting a lightweight running shirt, but I didn't realize how sheer it really was. I figured it was slightly see-through, but it's very sheer. It also fits a little awkwardly under the arms. I bought a medium which seemed ok lengthwise, but a bit loose especially below the arms.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these boots because I wanted stiff boots for touring, but I'm still skeptical of the boa system. The dual boa is nice because it allows more play with tightening different areas of the boot, but as I expected, I still end up having to retighten them frequently. It's convenient to be able to tighten boots with gloves on and the boa system allows for speedy adjustments, however, I'm terrified of the day they snap in the middle of a long tour because duct tape is probably not going to help.

Other than my complaints of the boa system, this boot is comfy, warm, stiff enough for backcountry touring, but flexible enough to have a blast snowboarding all day! They're also true to size.

I got this harness as more of a backup harness, but end up using it all the time. It's more comfortable than I expected and the speed adjust leg loops are easy to use. The downside of the speed adjust is that there's a bit less play with how you want the harness to fit, which is why I mostly just use it in the gym, where I'm not sitting in it for hours on end.

This harness is pretty comfortable, but the leg loops definitely get uncomfortable on hanging belays and long climbs. Great for sport climbing though!

The bigger problem I have with this harness is that it started fraying very quickly. Although structurally it's not a problem, it does make the durability of the harness seem less on point.

These gloves definitely met my expectations. I bought them knowing they're probably not the warmest glove out there, which they're not, but they are perfect for backcountry touring and ice climbing. They're plenty waterproof and provide enough dexterity for ice climbing and putting a splitboard back together.

These are basically the best things I've ever put on my feet. I bought them for a yurt trip and never wanted to take them off. Even better, they fit inside the outer shells of my snowboard boots quite well, making them perfect for wandering around outside on the snow too :)

It's lightweight, packable, and waterproof, making it perfect for the backcountry. The long pit zips make it perfect for quick breathability. It still works great with an extra layer or two on cold days and days at the resort. It fits well (I'm 5'9" and purchased a medium) and is very durable, however the plastic zipper seems like it could break eventually.
