Kyle's Bio

Hi my name is Kyle Brady and I’m a snowboarder. I have been struggling with this addiction since before I could drive. I have moved, quit jobs, and started a terrain park as well as a contest series in the name of snowboarding. Basically, my whole life has revolved around snowboarding since I could drive. After getting sick and tired of flat land activities and compost pile ski hills in Michigan, I relocated to Steamboat. I was in search of that classic western experience and POWDER! Well, I found it. Since then I have relocated to the beautiful Wasatch Front. I found a home at Snowbird and Backcountry.com and have decided this is the life for me. Living in Utah for over 5 years has opened so many doors to other activities. I have expanded snowboarding into the backcountry and yes I do split my own boards. I put over 100 day on my splitboard alone this season. I have fallen in love with climbing and canyoneering here in recent years. That and backpacking pretty much control the summer and keep me occupied till the flakes start falling.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this thing. It has no wiggle in the entire system. Nothing in the hitch or anything! Not sure if I got lucky but it is amazing. It locks down the bikes by the tire. My friends that hooks to the frame scratches bikes. It may be a little long with the attachment for 4 bikes but I don't care. It's legit.

I picked this up thinking it was going to a medium flexing, directional twin I could use for jibbing around in the backcountry. I don't really find this board to be a mid flex board. This is a solid medium-stiff board. Between the bindings is really stiff and the tips feel a tad softer. I can charge on this thing. I have a Rome Whiteroom and this definitely feels stiffer.

Not a POW stick. This is not the board I take out with the snorkel. I have my whiteroom for that. This turned out to be a great board for going after the steeps once the conditions allow it.

It shed snow well because of the top sheet
Fairly light and a tight connection.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been on a prototype pair of these for a full season now and they rule. I Love them on resort. They are the most responsive toe to heel binding I have rode. The straps are really comfy and flex is sturdy yet there for forgiveness.

I have also been touring on these a ton. The single riser is ok but you can easily upgrade to the dual riser.

Overall, one of my favorite and most versatile bindings I have ever ridden.

Recommended for the person who has a quiver of resort boards and or the person who splits time between resort and backcountry and wants one pair of bindings.
