Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs small

So I have the S-Phyre shoes and am really impressed. Saw these gloves when i was looking for some new ones, and was hesitant because they do not have any padding in the glove, but decided to give them a try.
Problem 1.: I have large hands, and have always worn the largest size glove in a products range. When I measured my hand, the sizing chart recommended a size L. I thought this was strange, but ordered them. When they arrived, didnt even try them on, way too small. I would not trust the size chart at least for people with large hands.
Ordered a second pair in XXL, they fit tight, but comfortable. After 2 rides ranging from 2 to 3 hours, I was sold, these are awesome gloves, and I would not go back to heavily padded gloves again. I really liked a more direct connection with out the bulk of pads, but still have the grip gloves provide.
Problem 2: On the third ride one of the seams ripped out. Think even in XXL my hands are just a little too big I am 6´3´´ 190 lbs.
I have never not fit a brands largest glove, but looks like these will not work for me.
If they were a little larger I would give them 5 stars.

I bought a pair of Mavic gloves this winter and love them, so I thought i would try the neck gaiter. It is nicely lined and warm, but the fabric is not stretchy enough. It is pretty much at max stretch to get it over my head. It is also not comfortable to pull up over your nose. Really good neck gaiter, but not really up to the job for face protection like it should be.

I have used Pearl Izumi gear to provide me with warm capable and reasonably priced winter gear for a number of years. I picked up this jacket on sale earlier this year and have had it out riding and running a number of times. It is comfortable, fits great, looks good, and keeps me warm. Feel it performs well above it's price.

Fit: True to size

I bike in the Minnesota winter down to 0 degrees. I needed a new set of mitts and liked the look of these. I have ridden them down to 17 degrees with merino liners, and my hands were toasty warm. They look great, and have low bulk, so they are not giant puffy boxer mitts on your hand. Actually thinking about ordering another pair.

I have been wearing Sugoi Women's Evolution Shortie's for 5+ years and have loved them, until last year. They took out the grips on the legs inside the shorts and the material is having Lululemon syndrome ~completely see through! I thought last year was a fluke, sadly not. These shorts are the worst yet. So sad...I'm going to have to change brands. We had a good run Sugoi. Maybe someday you'll go back to your roots.
