This got me through a 3 night trip with no problems. I liked that there were different brightness settings, as well as a red light. I tended to use the lowest setting as an overhear light in my 2 person tent and the brighter ones for navigating paths in the campsite. Used the batteries that came with the headlamp without any issues.

I am so glad I purchased this for my recent camping trip. It is easy to inflate and works well throughout the night. Kept my hip off the ground even through I am a side sleeper. The valve was a little difficult to secure the first night (especially without the use of my headlamp) but I soon learned the feel of it completely closing and it worked much better through the rest of the trip. I did have to add air to it before bed each night, but it held well overnight with my weight on it.

This meal started out great, lots of flavor, enjoyed the rice and veggies. By the end of the bag (to be fair its 2 servings and I was eating both for my meal) it tasted like someone had doused the food in soy sauce. It was a strong salty flavor that was almost overwhelming, but again that didn't phase me until the last 1/4 of the bag. Might be better if you mix some veggies or something bland in with the meal.

I was expecting meals like these to be something I would have to force myself to eat, that I really wouldn't like. I was extremely surprised and glad that this was actually good. Its a little bland, definitely improved with some salt packets, but all in all its a great meal after a long day of hiking. I let mine sit an extra couple minutes on my second try to make sure the food was fully cooked (it was still a little crunchy the first time I made it.)

Size Purchased: 9.5

I have yet to use these shoes out on the trail, but I'm happy with them so far. They're nice and light. DEFINITELY order up. I'm normally an 8.5 or a 9, but the 9 made my toes go numb when I tried them on around the house. I ended up with a 9.5 and they fit well. I'm excited to take them out on some trails when I head out to Arizona next month.

UPDATE:
Wore these shoes through a canyon, hike/climb up Sedona, and most recently on a hiking trip through the Grand Canyon. These shoes held up well, didn't give me blisters, provided adequate traction. Overall great sneakers. Word of warning to those with feet on the narrow side, its hard to get them tight enough to hold your foot well. If you are looking for ankle support on hikes, this might not be the best shoe for you.
