Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have worked with SUUNTO for a long time and have a lot of familiarity with the product line. As someone who likes to travel long days in the mountains, this has been the perfect fit. This new #9 incorporates every feature you could want for your day in the hills. The watch reminds you to switch to modes depending on the length of your workout, it syncs beautifully with Movescount to document your whole activity with mapping etc. Tracks heart rate, distance, and has a very durable finish. These days I do most hikes and camping etc with my 2 year old so the watch face takes a beating.. but the #9 has resisted all attempts to damage it so far - burly and durable. It's features are many but include GPS, Heart rate tracking, weather and more. As stated above, I did get this watch free but it is the watch I would buy if I had to make a choice. I also wear it every day for general tracking of my activity level - which is really interesting..Lastly, I do like the style -- the new watch face and band.
