Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It's too big in some places and too small in others. The straps are super uncomfortable. I've worn it once, other times put it on, but then took it off. So it stays in my Go Bag for last minute runs or fast changes when I go out for a run and get too sweaty to drive home comfortably. Don't recommend it at all.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I keep trying to LOVE these shoes. They are heavier than the Ultrafly. They are wider than the Ultra Fly and the Hydroventure. Size for size, I am constantly stopping to tighten the lacing... and even then I am always feeling heal pain whereas in the other two models by Topo, I've loved every mile.

I'm still struggling with wondering if I need a different arch support or should just switch to a different shoe. Have had them for 3 months, alternate with other shoes, so it's become clear that the pain is generated mostly from these shoes. I just want to like them. ARGH! :)

LOVE the Ultrafly and the Hydroventure, but they wear too fast. I expect a good shoe that cost over $120 to last a good 6 months to a year. In both cases, the wear is greater than I expect.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I hate to not like an MH product, but this one just isn't going to cut it. MH replaced a leaking jacket instead of repairing a leak. This was my choice, and I'm so unhappy. The right arm always feels damp. My husband keeps saying it's my imagination because the fabric feels wet -- but really? It's only my right arm and it always feels like the rain is coming through. Yes, I've treated it to see if that helps, but this has gone on from day 1. I'm an avid outdoorsy girl, have owned many different goretex or wp jackets -- none have leaked like this until a few years old. I would not recommend this jacket for this reason alone, but there is more.
The zipper is always a fight. I can fuss with it for a good 5 minutes before I get it to close. Also, I wish I'd known that the chest pocket was not included in the women's version.

Just not a good outdoor solution. Fine if darting around from car to store or office, but a bad choice for real outdoor activity -- which is why I am here looking for a better option.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 135 lbs
Size Purchased: L

I expected this to be a great fit and failed to notice the non-existant back pocket or armpit vents.
The chest is too tight, but the rest of the jacket fit fine. I bought a large but I'm not that well endowed and it was an oddly tight fit.
I really missed the chest pocket for a phone or mp3 player, and disliked the front pockets. I want easy access back pockets like most jerseys and I also failed to notice the lack of armpit zippers for extra ventilation. Living in the rainy northwest, those armpit zippers are essential for our varied weather.

I needed a good snow boot for snowshoeing and winter walking. My other requirement was a wide and stiff toe box to accomodate a neuroma (forefoot issue).

These are a great combination to fit these needs. They feel kind of springy with the NF insole, but with my orthotics they don't feel as bouncy.
Only nit is they aren't much higher than hiking boots and I don't think as warm as the 0 degree boots I've seen for men.

They are indeed highly insulated and really warm. I wear them around town like tennis shoes when wet and snowy.
