Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Well, I was hoping for more from Wheels Manufacturing but they disappointed me again. The bearings didn’t last five weeks (approx 250 miles) in dry weather and the finish of the machine work was not great.
I replaced the bearings with some standard bearings and they’ve been going strong for 750 miles now. Definitely going with another brand next time.

Well, these seemed like a good solution but they’re just not made correctly. The fit into the bearing is too sloppy which causes looseness in the crank spindle. This can be felt by hand on the workstand and on the road when pedaling hard.
I contacted Wheels Manufacturing and they claimed that they were supposed to be loose. Huh!!?? Well I bought the equivalent Enduro adapters and they’re perfect! Don’t waste your money on these.

These had a loose fit in my Ceramic Speed BB30 bearings right out of the bag which created a slight knock when pedaling hard on my trainer. I measured them and they were undersized which means that they have a poor design or poor quality assurance (or both). Any bottom bracket, bearing or bearing adapter should have a light press fit and not a clearance fit.
I contacted Wheels Mfg looking to get them replaced only to get snarky response telling to me look elsewhere for the problem because they couldn’t have possibly be the cause even though I gave them the measurements.
I’ve since replaced them with another manufacturer’s adapters and it all works perfectly because they aren’t loose in the bearings.

I bought these pedals because of the nice platform and good weight. It turns out that the general build quality is also excellent so that's a plus. What kills the deal is the terribly inconsistent release. Most of the time they release nice and smoothly but once in a while something causes them to stick and not release so they really are unusable and borderline dangerous.

I stopped using them last summer because of this.

I'm enamoured With this frame! I built it up with 11 spd Ultegra di2, hydro discs, and Reynolds 29er Carbon wheels. I've ridden CX, gravel and lots of road and it handles everything beatifully. It reeks of quality also - just striking. My 62cm frame has loads of stiffness and just enough flex to mesh with my pedal stroke like no other bike I've ridden.

I'm so jazzed with the overall capabilities of the frame that I recently bought some Reynolds Assault disc wheels so this bike can do double duty as my road bike.

Love it!

Let's see, you pretty much can't go wrong with DT Swiss 240s hubs. Light, well finished, nice bearings, and good looks mostly sums it up.

I gave the hub 4 stars instead of 5 because it is expensive and I'd like to see pad stamped or laser etched graphics instead of the sticker.

Fit: True to size

I've been waiting for Giro to launch a worthy successor to the Xen and this is finally it. The helmet looks fantastic, ventilates very nicely and provides nice coverage. I haven't yet had to put it to the ultimate test though I'm confident that the solid build and MIPS will help nicely.

The straps are thicker and heavier than most Giro straps but for me this keeps them away from my face and lends a solid feel to the helmet. Overall build quality is up with the best on the market too.

The only nitpick I have is that the GoPro mount is very sloppy so it is pretty much useless. The mount has a swivel to it that has about 1mm of play which makes my GoPro or light shake around which makes the mount totally useless. Update Nov 24: Giro somehow cannot replace the mount with another one after sending me one from a ski helmet that won't fit. Poor customer service so far and now they won't return any e-mails about getting me this $2 part. Luckily Comp Cyclist allowed me to return the helmet. This was not the ideal situation because I just wanted the camera/light mount to work.

I purchased this bar for my Giant Propel Advanced SL and it fits the purpose of the bike very nicely. It also looks great and adds to the fast ride of the bike. Overall the bars are stiff, comfortable and fast. On my Propel I ride primarily on the hoods and now have a nice semi-aero position to change things up.

The only downside is the awful internal cable routing. I've never had a bar that was so difficult to install due to tiny holes to get the cables through. I've installed internal cable routing on many bars and frames before and these were brutal.

I bought the orange Stratos 24 for commuting to work and really love it. I'm 6'5" tall and find that the m/l size fits my body really well and properly distributes weight on my hips. Most importantly, I can actually feel the airflow down my back! It is stable yet far less sweaty than any other pack that I've used.
Can't wait it to use it for some hiking too!

I've used these gloves for a bunch of rides now and they've performed really well. The feel is very soft and luxurious and the keep my hands warm just below freezing so I'm happy with that.

The fit is very good but not superb. The finger length is perfect but they're a bit big across my hands (I wear a size 11 or 12 normally and ordered the XXL). Sizing down would mean the fingers are too short.
Overall I'm very happy with them as long as durability is decent.
