Katy H.wrote a review of Columbia Alpine Action Omni-Heat Hooded Jacket - Women's on January 14, 2019
Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
So I waited until I tested this jacket out to use it (I've been using it just as a standard winter coat, but I took it skiing in Utah last week) It's a great jacket for keeping you warm without overheating! Here's the thing - I'm 5'2", fairly petite, 34C, 120lbs, and the small fits (almost) great. I definitely wouldn't have wanted the XS I would have typically ordered.
Con: I can't button the powder skirt over my hips. I don't have "big" hips. However, I could just be doing something wrong since I've never used a powder skirt. Didn't really miss it when I was skiing, so...
Also, the jacket zips up almost to my nose, however, it's way to tight to be comfortable zipped up that far. I have to tuck my chin really hard to actually zip it up that far.
Pro: Thumb hole sleeve - helped keep the jacket tight to my gloves, and it's an awesome thin stretchy material so it's not bulky under your gloves at all.
Ski pass pocket - didn't realize how awesome that little pocket on the arm was until I went skiing and was able to swipe in without taking the pass out of the pocket!
Hood is nice and deep without being crazy, has a little brim and stays up fairly well.
Overall, it's a really nice jacket. Lot's of great pockets.
