Perfect for rainy commutes
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

My partner has used the Tandem for about 6 months on his hour long commute to work. It's super easy to take on and off his rack with the velcro strips and even when it's been raining his gear has stayed dry. He loves the zipper pocket on the outside that he can use to put his phone in for easy access. Added bonus, it looks pretty slick!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am pretty stoked on this little bag. I tend to carry it with the cross-body strap most of the time, but love that I have an option for carrying it on my shoulder, too. The interior of the bag is light-colored so I can see all my stuff inside. I like the zipper pocket on the back for things like my phone and train pass so I can get to them quickly. Definitely a lot more sophisticated than a lot of my other bags, so I can dress up a bit and still feel comfortable wearing it.

A weatherproof rolltop that's strong as steel, the Clark Pack has room for everything you need and a little more. Clark features multiple exterior pockets for separating delicate devices from heavy U-locks and its rolltop closure keeps the weather out of the main compartment. With nearly impenetrable PVC construction, grommeted drain holes, and a removable rainfly, Clark will protect your gear from flash floods and bad guys.

A professional, travel-ready briefcase, the Transit knows the hustle is real. A slip through panel affixes the Transit to your roller bag for a streamlined sprint to Gate 47, and airmesh back panels and adjustable shoulder strap provide a comfortable buffer in close quarters. The internal compartment features two pouch pockets, an organization panel and a 13" laptop pocket, while the zippered back pockets lets you keep crucial docs close at-hand.

Our award winning cycling pack is now better than ever.

Designed in collaboration with San Francisco's Mission Cycling Club, the Raider Pack frees you to get in a pre-work ride without weighing you down. Weighing less than a pound, the Raider was named after Mission Cycling's pre-work "raids" up the Marin Headlands. Cooked up over a post-raid breakfast at a San Francisco neighborhood café, Timbuk2 and Mission Cycling were sweaty, tired, and sick of carrying their street clothes in bulky backpacks built for hiking. Understanding the need for a small, lightweight commuter pack that could hold the day's essentials without slowing down the pre-work ride, this Raider was born.

Built for lugging quickly packed everything, the Tripper just wants to go. But its simple silhouette belies some clever tricks. An internal organizer pocket prevents key and phone float, bottom zip compartment quarantines heavy stuff, and reinforced grab handles can take on truly heavy trips. Pack light and compress it down, or stuff it full and build your biceps. Just trip.

"This dual saddlebag pannier magically transforms into a single shoulder bag when toted off bike. Durable fabric with clever reflective hits make this a champion on and off bike. Thanks to built-in magnets, all traces of pannier-ness disappear for carting over the shoulder or by the top grab handles. An internal padded 15"" laptop pocket makes every commute a beauty. Do it in a downpour. The Tandem will keep the contents of your bag dry for several hours in the rain."

Sometimes, I just want something basic to lug around my stuff and the Tuck has been perfect for it! I can fit my clothes, harness, climbing shoes, chalk bag, jacket and lunch in the main roll-top compartment. I like that I don't have to unroll the roll top to get my laptop out on the back panel--perfect for going through security at the airport. The front zipper holds all my little stuff. My only request would be stretchier water bottle pockets as my bottle is a bit snug.

The Quest can be your go-to duffel. It's better looking than your old beater, but just as hard working. So if you love a good duffel and shower regularly, the Quest is for you. Lightweight Ripstop Nylon means you only carry what you pack and compression straps let you stuff it or keep it slim accordingly. And its big-mouth opening and large floating shoe pocket facilitates sanitary packing. Grab it in your hands or sling it over your shoulder and enjoy your Quest.

An office-appropriate, device-friendly travel backpack, the Armory keeps your items organized with military-like precision. The internal padded laptop sleeve and dedicated tablet pocket means zero futzing at TSA checkpoints, and the all-pockets-accounted-for organization panel keeps small objects, like that strictly confidential thumbdrive, secure and accessible.. But before you start taking yourself too seriously, make use of the bottle opener on the shoulder strap.

If your work requires a lot of stuff and you like order but prefer not to look too stuffy, put the Authority on your back. It's a bring-the-office-with-you bag; pockets big and small makes sense of everything your day job and side gig require. And it feels good thanks to the backpack straps and a super cush grab handle. Pair that with a beautiful base fabric, tuck-away sternum straps, and an air mesh back panel that keeps your dress shirt dry, and you can dork out on the inside and be cool and collected on the outside.

If you believe backpacks are superior but hate dorky ones, get serious with the Division. Its clean exterior appearance belies its very nerdy interior. Its laptop sleeve is our most lux, its organization on point, and access beyond easy (i.e. rear access to laptop). It's even designed to sit upright while you dig inside. Cloaked in a beautiful base fabric, its sternum straps tuck-away to keep excess strap flap at bay and an air mesh back panel keeps your dress shirt dry. Pair that with covertly suspended backpack straps that sit naturally on your shoulders with a grab handle worth grabbing, and you'll want to give it a raise.
