Katie Haberstock's Bio

I was born & raised in the playground of Western North Carolina then transplanted myself to Logan, UT for 7 years (Go Aggies!) Recently embarking on new adventures in Salt Lake City I enjoy snowboarding the greatest snow on earth & hiking as many new trails as I can find, sometimes picking up an antler or two. And looking great while doing it!
I enjoy a fantastic meal & a snuggle on the couch with my two cats when i'm not seeking my next beautiful adventure.

Gave these as a gift to my mom for her Birthday.
her review:

Fit= Roomy in legs
Familiarity: This is the second pair of these pants I have owned.

I wore these in Utah soft powder and stormy conditions. I love the fit, and how they kept me warm and dry all day!
I am a middle age woman; and although in good physical shape, I do have a wide waist and thick thighs. These pants have a roomy leg that gives me plenty of comfort, and a Velcro tab that adjusts the waist to fit perfectly and helps the pants fit very stylishly.
And a bonus…the 31” inseam is long enough that I did not have to invest in a long length.

I would recommend this pant for any snow skiing or outdoor winter adventure where comfort, protection from wet conditions, and warmth are a priority.

Changing lenses has never been easier! That's what sold me on these. I wanted 1 pair that i could use for everything. They look awesome too! *props for the black panther*
They do fog easily. The 1st day I wore them was a SUPER wet day. I thought maybe they were defective. 2nd time wearing they were great. Just when i'd bend down to strap in & out the steam from my jacket would fill them up.
Sweet goggles! just might need to try some other alternatives for super wet days.

I love the color of these. I expected the material to be thicker than it was. They stretch & move with your body with ease. And they just look super stylish. They are a little bit short. I have a little longer than average legs. I wear them with tall boots in the winter & will probably wear them with my Converse or Rainbows in the summer.
Great pants! comfortable, stylish, and Bluesign approved!

I was so excited to get this jacket. It is unbelievably soft.
I usually vary between a Small & a Medium. I'm on the taller side, but have a very small waist. The Medium fit perfectly with room for layers. I usually wear a shell jacket on top for the cold Utah winters. My favorite detail is the material around the wrists & waist.. It just has a great feel & lays flat against the body. Different than other jackets like this.
I got the classic black. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a great midlayer.

Before investing in these boots i had been riding a pair of Burton boots for the last 9 years. I was a little hesitant to ditch my beloved boots & go through the process of breaking a new pair in.
After heat molding them & throwing my SuperFeet insoles (im a severe over-pronator) in I am not turning back.
They are snug & supportive as well as WARM. The reflective foil is literally like a space suit/sleeping bag. You wont be getting cold feet on the mountain.
Also, a huge plus, they are antimicrobial so NO stinky feet/boots. That's always been a struggle for me when i've ridden 50+ days in a season.
My final pro about these is they are incredibly light weight, something my old boots were not. Im not lugging around extra weight when i don't need to.
I would recommend these boots to any hard riding gal. Two thumbs up from me!

p.s. my last boots held up for 9 years! I'm hoping to get the same out of these! Burton has awesome quality gear.

p.p.s. i am usually between an 8.5 & 9 in all shoes. I ordered a 9 in these. they fit great esp. after molding them.

I have sworn by SmartWool socks for years. These are so soft & warm. They are snug/tight in just the right places. I have bought these as gifts for many of the ladies in my life & they love them as much as I do.
I would definitely recommend them.

I was on the market for some classic brown ankle booties.
These are beautifully made. They have a nice rubber sole to keep you from slipping all over the place. The color is a beautiful cognac/brown. The insole is also padded & very comfortable.
They did stretch a little over time, especially paired with thick warm socks. If you are one that varies between a whole & half size, i would recommend going down 1/2 size to account for the stretch of the boot.
Over all I am in love with these shoes. I can't wait to wear them for years to come. Definitely a great investment.

I use this backpack on a daily basis. Whether it's going to work or headed up to the mountain to go snowboarding. I can fit anything & everything i want inside of it.
One of my favorite features is the drawstring closure, it makes for very easy access. Unlike a usual zipper, the drawstring helps open the mouth of the pack up wide, so it's easy to dig through & stuff as much in as you want/can.
The material is very durable too. i'm not worried about rips & tears. Also, the pink lining is a plus for me.
I enjoy the small side pockets inside the pack, great to put my sunglasses in so they don't get crushed.
The shoulder straps are also very padded & comfortable.
I would 100% recommend this pack to anyone.

I wore these leggings to go split boarding. It was about 25 degrees & snowy.
They fit snug & not super low rise, perfect to keep my top layer tucked in.
The wide elastic waistband is another pro for me, no pinching or squeezing.
They are also super soft!
One of the features that i really liked is they are not tight around my ankles, great for movement & doesn't cut off the circulation in my ankles when im strapped into my boots.
I tend to always run cold. These will be great for chilly days on the lifts after bombing hills.
Merino wool has always been a staple in my winter wardrobe. Mons Royale has some super cute colors & styles! I can't wait to add more to my collection.

Favorite workout shirt!!
5 5

Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 130 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

This shirt is hands down my favorite workout shirt i've ever owned. I wear it to the gym, hiking, or even running around town.
Super light weight & wicking. I tend to get quite sweaty, especially after hiking miles in the mountains with a pack on.
After hiking 5 miles to White Pine Lake in the Naomi Wilderness on a humid, overcast & muggy day I felt dry & not sticky sweaty.
I ordered a medium. I have a small waist but my shoulders are more on the broad side, as well as having an extra long torso. Fit perfectly.

I wear these socks on the daily. I always have cold toes & these keep my feet nice & toasty. They fit true to size & i've had zero issues with holes or extreme wear & tear. They are the perfect height to wear with my booties & they dont peak over the top of my shoes.
10/10 recommendation on these.

I got this specifically for cold winters in Logan, UT. It is the ticket.
I ordered a Medium, but after a few wears realized I needed a small. I have a small waist but my shoulders are more on the broad side. And a long torso on top of that. I usually order Mediums, but after a few wears I realized I could have probably used a Small.
I like that there is both a zipper & snaps. Works great for when you're trying to bundle up or in a rush.
Logan winters can be really cold, especially on the USU campus (-10 in January with a gnarly wind chill). Throw on a big scarf & put the hood up, you're in for a snugly walk.
I also have to dress up on a multiple occasions, this is my go to coat for that. I feel that this is a staple piece in my wardrobe.
I would recommend this to any of my family & friends. Extra bonus that it comes in multiple colors!
