Katherine Mohnwrote a review of Special Blend Crash Jacket - Women's on December 15, 2009
I bought one of these jackets for my sister and one for me. The brown flowered print is insanely cute, and the grey/white flower is actually very small purple and blue flowers, also really nice looking. Compliments galore. Let's face it -- fit is important. The jacket fits tightly through the hips, but a button in the back can release some of that tight effect. If you take a spill, no snow will find your posterior region with that skirt cinched down! There are a lot of snaps in addition to the zipper, but they didn't bother me. The hood is roomy, which I liked, but can be cinched down. The fabric around the neck is soft, so nothing is scratchy when you're all zipped up. The sleeves, contrary to another review, can be cinched down as well with a snap, though the cinch point is about two inches up from the actual cuff. The jacket kept me really dry in a cold urban downpour last week. It is mid-to lightweight, so I would suggest layering (as I do with any jacket) on the slopes. To me, the lightness adds to the versatility. Overall, expect versatility, practicality, and megawatt cute.
