I'm not sure why people rave about these goggles. I own 3 other goggles (Oakley Canopy, Dragon APXs, and Scott LCG) and they all outperform the I/O by far.
Some people are comparing these goggle to 50 bucks goggles, and for sure they will find a huge difference!
Here's an objective review after several uses:
These goggle are in fact perfect for smaller face, but they look somewhat off when coupled with a helmet. I found these goggles to be much more stylish over a beanie.
I'm also not so sure why Smith are keeping this product after launching the I/0 7 last year, along with the existing I/0X and S.
To keep it short:
-Fits well on smaller faces
-Super easy interchangeable lens
-Great Quick release strap
-Lens gets scratched easily (I received mine with the blue sensor mirror with a small scratch right out of the box). Changed to the Red SolX Mirror and it got scratches after 1 day on the slopes... knowing that I take care of my gear.
-Limited field of view from all sides... Had to take a guess every time I reached for the chest pocket on my jacket.
-Fogged from day 1
-Foam padding is not very comfortable on my face.
