This IS the ultimate layering piece. An essential part of layering smart is having bang for your buck. Who doesnt love Patagonia, from what they stand for, to products like the R1, which has been a long standing favorite. The sizing can be tricky so call me and let's talk about sizes and your next adventure!

I haven't had a chance to really test this jacket, but the construction is magnificent. Superior stretch and quality you can feel. Hands down the most versatile soft shell I own with the breathability and weather protection ( remember, for a soft shell) it offers. The sizing on most of Patagonia jackets are forgiving, lots of room where you need it, so layering isn't an issue. I would put it at true to size if you're familiar with Patagonia's fit. With that being said, This jacket has cinches at the waist and quality cuff closures. It looks great and relaxed (without major layering). The Carbon color is more of a deep deep forest green, actually quite a pleasant color, just a heads up! Call me to talk about sizing and where you plan on taking this bad boy!

Im new to Salewa, I was looking for an approach shoe that had style and function and landed here. These shoes are superb approach shoes that are comfortable, true to size and well constructed. Right out of the box, I knew they were what I was looking for....a quality shoe with a sticky sole and a unique construction.

Oh boy....where do I start......This jacket is astounding. SO soft and stretches in the right places. The best thing about putting it on is realizing the potential. From mid layers to a stand alone piece, it is the perfect shoulder season item. It offers breathable insulation? sounds like some hippy dippy mumbo jumbo...when you put it on you will see. Call me to get the right fit!

I'm a fan of function, Im a bigger fan of looking great when it counts. Perfect light hiker that is stylish and trail ready. The foot bed creates instant satisfaction, you know you are going to at least be comfortable and dry!

If you have any questions about this boot or any other hike and camp needs, give me a call!

These gloves are no joke, The quality alone is appealing, treat them well and break them in and you wont want to go back, for the price these are exceptionally warm, stylish, the trigger finger is clutch. The potential for warmth with the 3-finger option is real....great ski mitt.

These are great shells, the quality is there, super durable, taken quite a few beginner falls skiing and snowboarding and no matter what they look brand spankin' new. The fit is VERY relaxed. I was gifted the XL, I feel like the L would be too tight so I deal with it. Proper under layering will take care of it, if you are a minimalist or like to go light this could get on your nerves. I cant think of a better pant for the price, does the job well.

If you want to talk about Mountain Hardwear products give me a ring!

The R1 holds true, warmth without weight. I'm a huge fan of layering, while mixing and matching I figured out the R1 out performed most of my thicker under layers (close second to the Better Sweater) quite incredible how warm and movable it is, I wear it as a ski layer, casual layer....hint: I wear it everyday..........worth the price to feel this nice!

From Tabby Mountain in -15 to the brisk southern desert mornings here in Utah, I've used this sweater in almost every way possible.. It is super durable, the reinforced cuffs and hem retain their shape remarkably. Im a bigger guy, wearing an XL is just right, I'd go XXL for any additional beefy layers on particularly cold days, other than that I've started a climbing day with it on and wore it over a button up for dinner that night. TRULY THE BETTER SWEATER!
