Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This training desk pretty much functions as advertised: It's perfectly designed for training sessions, stable, and has a non-slip surface. A very sturdy desk overall.

That said, it arrived broken. The desk has two push-buttons that are set in the platform that allow the platform to be raised or lowered to accommodate the height of your bike. The buttons are connected (cheaply) to locking mechanisms by long, skinny metal rods that run through the support arms. Apparently, one of the rods became disconnected during transport, and because the support arms are sealed there's no way to reconnect it.

You can still "manually" adjust the desk by directly pushing in the locking mechanism with the tip of a small allen wrench. Not a big deal if you're not going to adjust the desk height very often, but kind of a pain if you want to adjust it regularly.

It's one of those things that bugs you but probably not enough to go through the hassle of repackaging the desk and sending it back.
