If you're looking for a jacket that has it all, this is it. It is lightweight, considering that it is a 750 fill goose down jacket with a goretex shell sitting on top of it. I dont like layering up too much, so that is why this jacket works for me. The insulated hood & high collar are essential for the bitter cold days that require you to trap in the heat from your head and protect your face. It breaths quite well and the pit zips are crucial for when it wams up. I'm very satisfied with the pockets and how well they serve the tasks they were designed to complete. The removable powder skirt is a plus, I'm not a fan of having extra material around when it conditions don't call for it.
The only issue that you will have with the jacket is the sizing. It fits tighter than what Arcteryx claims is a
