This dry bag is made with a thick rubber material instead of nylon with a water resistant coating. It works great for rougher sports like caving or canyoneering where you run a higher risk of puncturing the dry bag. I've used these dry bags for several years and they have withstood a lot of abuse.

Great for hiking in warm or moderately hot climates. It strikes a nice balance of protecting your skin from sun exposure but still being breathable. It’s best for the 75 to 95 degree F temperature range.

They are breathable, moisture wicking, and dry relatively fast. They are very durable as well, two pairs I bought 4 years ago are still going strong. A must have for backpacking or other adventure sports.

Like all bear cans it is heavy but it has good carrying capacity. For two people it works fine for weekend trips, pair it with the larger version and we have had enough room for 5 day backpacking trips. Having it double as a seat is nice compensation for the added weight to my pack. An added bonus is it is an approved bear can for many national parks.
