For the past 7 years I've ridden the Norrona Narvik jackets. When I was forced to replace the last one I was devastated to learn that Narvik had been changed into a baggy fit downgraded model without zipper link to Norrona pants. I'm glad I checked out the new Lofoten though. Basically they've taken the Narvik cut/fit to Lofoten, which used to be much baggier. The new Lofoten has a great fit that is not baggy yet allows excellent movement (I'm pretty slim with longish arms and size small works great). I did like the pockets/vents in the old Narvik better though. Also, the super thin hard shell takes some getting used to for someone who's been riding a softer shell. Not a complaint however, just need to reconsider the base layers.

I rode my previous Lofoten pants for 5 years and didn't even have to think about it when the time came to replace them. The fit is great (loose enough but not baggy), the pockets are fantastic, the zipper link to Norrona jackets is perfect (the only complaint is that they removed the feature from Narvik jackets). And lastly, the quality is outstanding. I rode my previous Lofoten pants 200+ days.
