I wear this shacket (shirt+jacket for the uninitiated) often and I love it. The fit is very low profile with light insulation which is just enough for a cool day. They style is pretty outdoor/modern which means its on the casual side, but can easily be worn around town or out for a casual drink. I especially like the matte finish of the material and buttons which increases the style quotient vs. other alternatives

These are solid joggers in a really nice fleece material. They are warm, stylish and fit in that perfect not-too-skinny and not-too-baggy way. The pocket and knee details are nice touches and keep these joggers interesting

I have now used the Wolverine Cirque for over two months in various conditions: in the resort, in the backcountry, and around town. This jacket is quickly becoming my go-to mid layer based on its warmth, stretch and features. I have worn this mid layer in the resort over a thin base layer and under a shell and I have stayed warm in single digit temps. The insulation retains heat and is very flexible. The key features for me are the stretch fleece back and the stretch fleece cuffs and waist. Unlike other mid layers the back panel on this piece is stretch fleece which prevents overheating with a pack which is critical to staying dry (not sweaty) and reducing bulk. The stretch fleece cuffs (with thumb holes which are a great touch) and waists improve the fit of the product while also keeping each area in place during rigorous activities. I find myself reaching for this mid layers over all of my other options

This is my current favorite down jacket among the many in my closet. This jacket combines fantastic construction, quality materials and truly thoughtful design elements that drive performance in the backcountry. This jacket fits me true to size. I am 6'0" and 180 lbs and wear a medium in nearly every brand including Backcountry. The slightly oversized-profile of the jacket is a bit more on the freeride side meaning it is a bit longer (at the bottom) than your average jacket (about 1 inch) which I really like. The fabric is great and so far is very durable. The 850 down is the highest fill rating (warmth-to-weight ratio) available in the market making this a jacket very warm, lightweight and packable. The jacket has a number of really thoughtful design features that really make it. The cuff construction has built it wrist gaiters with thumb holes that allow keep you sleeves in place with gloves on. The gaiters also completely eliminate air flow in through the wrist holes resulting in no draft through the sleeves. The body of the jacket contains mesh-lined vents which I have not previously seen on a down jacket. It is nice to be able to open up vents to dump heat if the temperature rises. Finally the double zipper allows you to unzip the jacket from the bottom up allowing easy access to ski bibs or anything stashed under the jacket. Finally, the chest pocket is huge, like good sized peanut butter sandwich huge, while maintaining a nice low profile when empty. I could not recommend this jacket more highly.

The Faherty Board Shorts are quality personified from the materials used to the thoughtful design details. The material is super soft and nice against the skin while still functioning like a board short. The details and construction are top notch. The print is killer. I am about 6;0" with a normal leg to torso ratio and these are on the shorter side (2/3 down the thigh) without feeling fashion or jersey shore short.

Poler quality is pretty low and these boardshorts are no exception. They are made from very thin, cheap feeling nylon. Look, nylon is great in the water, but the quality just isn't there. Style is cool, but I would look elsewhere. You better love your mid thighs, as these things are short. If that is your jam, cool, the length is for you

Super cool boardshorts from a super cool brand Howler Bros. Functionally, the shorts performed as advertised; however, one of the pocket grommet eyelets fell out after a summer of use. I realize this is a small thing and I did use this constant this summer, but it feels like this should not have been an issue. I am def willing to give Howler another shot. Love that they make 33" waist size

Super cool retro-style high pile fleece. Reminds me of the monkey fleeces of ten years+ ago, but with way better styling. Super warm and very soft. Impress your friends with you style while staying warm. The fit is on the boxier side, but this is a retro fleece, what do you expect?

This is a fantastic hat and a nice alternative in a world where everything is a trucker hat. The dad-style hat is very cool and has elevated touches and construction that makes it nicer than the hats you get at crappy sales conferences. The fitz roy trout patch is iconic, clean and made of a velcro style material that will hold flys. The front in on the lower/medium height side which is my style as I don't prefer the tall front trucker hats. It is similar in rise to Patagonia's lo-pro hat line. Finally, the material is top notch with technical elements that will shed some water i.e., its not a cheapo cotton hat with no structure. Just go ahead and get it.

Owning multiple long sleeve henleys including more than a few from higher-end fashion brands, I am a discerning henley customer. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with this henley from Backcountry. First, the weight of the fabric is perfect coming in slightly heavier than a t-shirt but much lighter than a sweater making it a perfect fall or winter primary piece without being too cold or too hot for everyday wear. The fabric is very soft which surprised me given the "thermal" in the title. I was expecting something a bit more old-school (waffllely or overemphasized texture). Instead, the fabric is soft and sleek giving it slightly more sophisticated look and feel. The fit is great, slightly athletic without being too fashion trim. I am 6'0" and 180lbs (40R suit size) and the Medium was perfect.

I used this jacket for half of a winter in 2018 and tested it various conditions from the backcountry to the resort. This jacket is lightweight, minimalist in design and is incredibly breathable. I found its breathability to be superior to most other jackets I have owned or tested. I believe this is a direct attribute . of the Polartec Neoshell fabric which is designed for maximum breathability. The jacket fits true to size and has held up incredibly well from a durability perspective. The chest pockets are well positioned and were accessible while wearing any of my packs and were large to quickly stash a beanie, googles or a small snack. I highly recommend this jacket, especially for alpine touring.

I have used the Backcountry x Flylow Mill D Bib in various backcountry settings from sunny warm days to less than ideal conditions. This bib shines during highly aerobic activities given its exceptionally lightweight and crazy breathable. When compared to my full GoreTex kits, the Polartec Neoshell is noticeably more breathable which is critical for longer late season days in the backcountry. The design is minimalist which is my preference and I will say the pocket positioning is very thoughtful and better than most other bibs. The side zips are substantial and convenient and work well with the Dead Tree zip-off insulated knickers designed in the overall touring system. A few things to know about these bibs. These bibs will work for resort skiing but layer up given the level of breathability. The fit is athletic and trim with enough room to layer but while keeping the entire system very compact. I am 6'0

My wife was skeptical that these pants would fit her well, but she loves them. They fit long and don't ride up on her legs and fit really well in the waist and hips. Not baggy like she expected. Fabric is comfortable and she loves wearing these on any given day.
