Took it snowboarding for last season. And then wore it intensively throughout the winter in Upstate NY. Even did some dirty gardening work in it and got it totally covered in mud. I cleaned it up through the washing machine, and I swear to god it still looks brand new, and works like the day I got it. A great shell jacket.

For snowboarding, it was perfect. Good fit and movement. Great vents and waterproofing. Zips were solid and the side mouth zip works really well. Hardy and functional. Looks slick too.

Also, ordered a Medium and wore it with an Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket Large under it, and it fit perfectly.

They worked perfectly. Warm, but not too warm. Great fit. Rugged design held up really well. They also were super easy to get on and off in all sorts of challenging situations. The clip that it comes with is also pretty hardy and did the job. Basically, look no further. This will get the job done.

Awesome at first, then come the feathers

Awesome out of the bag. Warm, cozy, great comfort and color. Loved everything about it. Used it for a snowboarding season of about 7 days, and causally for one winter.

But as I pull it out for its second season, I see massive issues. In multiple spots the feathers are coming out. In some places this appears because of micro rips in the incredibly thin fabric. In other places they just seem to be poking through.

The fabric holding the feathers in, while feels nice, appears to be so incredibly thin and weak that any little nick causes a rupture. Brush against a tree or bush, snag it on any little thorn, or not even a thorn, but something that catches it, and it will rip.

And sadly with what was a cool looking jacket, any white feather poking out is so obvious that it makes it look tacky immediately.

For the price, I expected this thing to go a long time and keep its structure. I doubt it will make it to the end of its second winter.

I could patch it up... but then i'm wearing a patched jacket that cost me $400 :/

Not recommend.
