I thought I would give The North Face Winter Warm hoodie a try thinking it would be somewhat like Patagoniaâs R1 and that is FAR from that showed up. The material of TNF is thin and lightweight and with a name like âwinter warmâ you would think you could wear it in colder temperatures but I would not wear this past 70°. After putting on the hoodie, I noticed that it had a very âboxyâ cut to it and was short in the the torso. When raising my arms, the shirt came well past past my midsection. The neck of the hoodie looks and feels awkward as well. If you were still interested in trying this hoodie I would definitely suggest sizing up and have low expectations Or save your money and buy Patagoniaâs R1 you will be a whole lot happier with a garment that fit a whole lot better and will actually keep you warm.
