Familiarity: I've used it several times
I had seen that he had another flannel similar to this and I absolutely loved the colors and it looks great on him!
Got the classics so I can be one of those people who wear socks with sandals. No shame here :)
New favorite t shirt. So comfy!
This is going to be the best ever for my pup! However right now she is too small and gets her feet caught in it if there is no leash attached. It is great when walking though as it allows her to venture a bit more and not get choked by her collar. Also it makes her really look the part of full time adventure pup!
My new puppy has not learned to sit in once place, or on a towel, or to not jump up on our windows... this thing is a life saver! It is helping to keep my new car interior in tact while the puppy learns manners. No more muddy paws everywhere!!!
I had the hardest time locating a backpack that could fit a 17" PC laptop as well as a water bottle, lunch, and jacket. Thankfully I found this pack as it is exactly what I needed for an office backpack that can hold everything without my having to carry extra totes around!
This dog bed seems awesome. it's easy to carry and a great size. I think that my dog gets a little too warm on it though
This jacket allows me to travel uphill without getting soaked through and that is exactly what I wanted it for! It adds an extra layer of wind protection and keeps me warm without letting me overheat. It also doubles as a good in-town jacket to throw on when Im running out the door.
Yes, you may think that the coffee ground come through the strainer.
Yes, you may think that the strainer is not the highest quality french press.
Yes, this french press attachment weighs close to nothing, fits inside of the container and allows you to make some dang tasty coffee in the backcountry. What more could you ask for really?
I understand wanting high quality coffee on the go and sometimes you make a sacrifice to have good coffee instead of cowboy coffee and this does the trick at almost no extra weight in your pack.
Pro Tip: if you are getting grounds in your coffee - filter it through a bandana when you pour and don't worry about the grounds anymore!!
I got the Sumo for my partner and I to take on a ski hut trip in the backcountry of Canada. It did a GREAT job and it is super easily packable! The canisters and all of the stove parts fit inside of the pot and therefore doesn't take up too much space! I would recommend this stove to anyone looking to cook for more than 1 person. I will probably be buying a smaller one as a personal backpacking stove as well.
I ended up exchanging these gloves for another similar pair because they were just a bit too warm to wear on the skin track.
I think that these would be absolutely wonderful winter "do things" like shovel snow, pick ice off of your car, or take the dog for a walk gloves.
These boots saved my toesies on a 10 day trip down the grand canyon in January! No little piggies were lost.
These pants saved my ass on a 10-day trip down the grand canyon in January!
This vest is incredible. Stylish, warm, packable, and durable, what more could you ask for? And just when you think it couldn't get any better, guess what? It does!... It's reversible!! Absolutely love it :)
These are my first XC boot I've worn and I am pretty stoked on them. They are comfy and warm but I think that they could fit a little more snug. I would have ordered maybe a half size down.
I have a tendency to fall on techy skin tracks, and these poles make life so much easier. The articulating powder basket lets me use all of the pole for balance and helping me through techy uphill.
I clearly havent tested the avy release on the straps but I think its a cool feature. Still not sure if I would full wrist strap in Avy terrain, but then again... I probably wouldnt be in terrain that might slide...
I got these after having Dynafit Speed Radicals on my last touring skis. These are a bit harder to get used to locking in and definitely feel harder to lock, but I love that they have brakes and the DIN releases when I tomahawk!
This Exped Synmat 7 is awesome. It is quite thick, so I am comfortable sleeping on my side. I would suggest blowing it up with your mouth as much as you can, and then moving to the hand pump to adjust the firmness. Otherwise it takes forever to blow up with just your hands! I haven't used it in the cold, but based on how thick it is, I think it would do great. It also packs down reasonably small. It's not ultralight gear, but that makes it better for durability in my opinion.
absolutely love my Rab Valence Hooded Down Jacket!!! It is super warm and fits me very well. I normally wear a medium, so that's what I ordered and it's perfect. I also have proportionally larger hips compared to my medium upper body, and amazingly enough, it fits comfortably at the bottom too! I also love the waterproof exterior, as it is also more durable for day to day wear, and doesn't seem to get holes as easily as my other down jackets have. The hood has great adjustments and has a lip on top, keeping the rain off my face. My only complaint is that there is no outside zippered breast pocket, so I have to open my jacket to get to my chapstick.
