So smooth!!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was a skeptic, but now a believer and I have the PR times to prove it! Seriously, what a difference an oval chainring can do for you on climbs and descents. I will say it took a few runs to get used to my new cadence, which was weird because I felt like I was working a lot less but receiving a lot more in return. I definitely felt I was receiving most of my power where needed, at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. It made for a very smooth powerful pedal stroke and really felt I was getting the most efficiency out of my pedaling. I went with a 32T as my bike allowed for the room, I would say that having an oval shape made it feel like a 30T. Make sure to check your bike to see what size it's compatible with as most bikes can't fit a 32T feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions!

The future is here! Do you ever find yourself clicking that shifter searching for that extra high gear when charging DH lines? Thinking about getting a DH bike so you can have that smaller cog tooth, do yourself a favor and run this cassette on your trail/enduro bike. You won't find yourself searching for a higher gear again! Smooth-shifting and pairs well with Sram Eagle drivetrains. I went with the 9x50 tooth and the ratio on the gears really makes a huge difference in getting the speed you need to hit that big jump or beat that PR time you've been searching for on Strava!

Definitely not your average wader!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

These have been one of my favorite waders so far! They are thicker than the usual waders and have fleece hand pockets to keep you warm in the coldest of days. They are also very durable and have padded knee pads which are nice for the occasional stumble over a rock. It is unfortunate that Patagonia changed the sizing on these, as they seem to fit a bit slimmer than I would like. I would recommend sizing up if you like to fish in the colder months to have room to layer up.
Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions on any of the waders that Patagonia offers.

No more soreness!!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

What is that thing? Yes, it may look a little funky, but that won't matter to you after a few rides on this thing. I used to ride with bibs, but after using this saddle on a few rides I have said goodbye to those. Seriously SMP saddles are game changers and your butt will definitely thank you!
These saddles have a ton of adjustability and very easy to mark your positioning with the railings. Feel free to shot me an email if you have any questions on any particular SMP saddles, let's get rid of that soreness!

Perfect shell jacket!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I usually use this jacket when I head out fishing on windy or rainy days. I also use it when I go touring in the winter. It's packable so I can just throw this in my pack without taking up to much space on climbs or in my fishing pack. It's lightweight, breathable, quick drying and best of all protects you from unsuspected rain showers out on the river or lake. It's true to size, I went with the large to have room to layer underneath.

Demoed a pair and was sold! These are overall great bindings from hitting big lines or just cruisers in the park. Awesome baseplate padding and support, makes you feel like you are riding on a cloud. Really gives you the confidence to send jumps with the baseplate bushings, truly a game changer. The highbacks have the perfect amount of flex giving you great board feel and response.

This board is awesome! I would definitely say this board can do it all, from riding park, groomers and powder it slays it all. It has the perfect amount of flex allowing you to really pop and press on rails/boxes, but it still feels very stable at high speeds. It does run wide which is a great option for boarders with big feet that get toe drag or heel drag when going deep into carves. Craving is unbelievable on this board, It's like a knife through butter! Carves are very responsive being asymetrical you can really get a precise heel carve just as you would on your toes

The Warpig! What can I say other than this board rips. I'm 5'9" and rode a medium which is equivalent to a 151cm board. However, it definitely did not feel like a 151 with its directional shape and wide nose, It rode like a much bigger board. For powder riding at a resort I usually ride a 156 for effortless floating in powder, I can definitely say this board held it's own in deep pow for being a size 151. It has great pop in powder and boasting off a jumps. A well balanced flex were it's very playful but still stable at high speeds. This board really shines when getting into deep carves at high speeds, It holds an edge super well!

I just love scientific anglers’ fly lines. I’ve tried every top brand and I can honestly say scientific anglers is second to none! It might be a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for when it comes to fly lines. This line casts like a dream! The texture on the fly line makes it slide through the eyelets of your fly rod with minimum resistance. Not only does it sound good but it shoots your line out there like no other! If you’ve been debating on spending the extra money on a nice fly line just do it! You won’t regret it!

This reel feels and performs like its competitors that cost 2 even 3 times as much. For it’s large size the reel is still really lightweight so I can cast it all day without getting too tired. It looks absolutely beautiful! I get a compliment every time I run into another angler. If you are looking for a saltwater reel that can perform on an advanced level and not break the bank this is the reel for you! I also want to add that Redington has a great warranty if any issues were to arise.

So warm and cozy! I tested this bag out in the fall while on a fly fishing trip where the temperature dropped to 0 degrees along the river. I tend to be a cold human being were the inevitable happens that I wake up in the middle of the night because I'm freezing! This bag definitely lived up to it's name and I was able to sleep all night without waking up once. Sooo warm!
