Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs small
What I Love: I wear these for technical trail running around the foothills of colorado, and some easy 5th class scrambling. (also wore them for a 14 day trek in the Himalaya) They have a great fit, look great, and most importantly stay comfortable and have AMAZING traction in any terrain. Wet, no problem, loose/gravelly soil, no problem, steep rock scrambling, no problem they perform as well as some approach shoes. these are probably 150+ miles in and are holding up amazingly- very little wear.
Nits: I have a wide toe box and they are a bit narrow there, they get a bit stinky but that could just be my own feet. I would definitely size up on these just a touch, as I have to wear thinner socks in order to avoid hot spots.
