Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 200 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I got this for my husband who never buys clothes for himself... which means I get to pick out whatever I like, and I liked this. First, the fabric weight is perfect. He can layer with a flannel jacket and be perfectly cozy, but also wear it by itself around the house and not be overly warm. The drape of the fabric is really lovely and, dare I say, flattering. and the cut of the sweater is attractive. Overall, a really great cozy, breathable garment in a beautiful rich color with wonderful quality.

I got these in a size 5 for my 15 month old girl. While the foot size is right on, the boot is way too tall for itty bitty legs. She's tall for her age (32") so I thought these would be good, but we can't even get her feet all the way down to the bottom b/c of the length of her calves. They're super cute and seem as well made as all of my other Sorel products, but I would save them for bigger kiddos!

I was so excited to see Backcountry carry this line! We brought our baby home from the hospital in L’oved baby jammies and I’m so glad to sleep her in them 15 months later! They run a little larger than brands like carter, so if your little has a tendency to move a lot, you may want to order a size down. Having said that, they are the softest pajamas out there. They are thick enough to be warm during our cool PNW nights, but not so warm that she overheats running around playing the next morning! They’re also super durable... we’ve layered jackets and boots over them and let her explore which usually means crawling, toddling, stumbling and still no tears or warping.

I wanted so badly to love these, and when I saw them I did! They’re a beautiful aubergine color and the suede is soft, but feels durable. And then I put them on. Pros: Sturdy construction, good quality elastic panels and well cushioned sole. Cons: the size runs small. I usually wear a 10.5, but can get away with a 10 if the fit is generous... these were not. If you’ve got some wiggle room in a 10, these may work well for you, but if your feet are a smidge linger or wider than a true 10, then be prepared for some serious squish. Having said that, if I find these in an 11 somewhere, they’re coming to live with me.

This was a splurge for me and I’m so glad I did! I was prepping for a few long flights and wanted something I could snuggle into without over heating, but still keep me warm enough to sleep. I picked this based on other web reviews and those folks don’t lie. It’s soft as a new puppy, and is pretty light weight. When wrapped around, though, it was the perfect temperature! I’m a taller, bigger woman and it’s still plenty big to use as a plane blanket. I love this!

I was shopping for a classic black boot and agonized for days over what to buy. I ended up selecting these beauties and I’m so glad I did. They’re my second pair of Frye’s and while I had no problems with the first, I was still a little afraid that these would need to be broken in. Not so! I’ve worn them nonstop through airports, and multiple workdays and I love them. Comfortable and stylish is an unreal combo, but my feet few great and I get co

I got these for my husband and I'm pretty sure they're magic. He put them on and was instantly about 10 degrees cooler. He reports that they're super comfy, enough to wear in Disneyland for 2 days of solid walking around and chasing kids (but only kids we know). He has wide feet and his shoes tend to stretch out pretty quickly, but these have kept their shape nicely, and the red/white/blue detailing on the back is a nice touch. Overall great casual shoe!

I bought these for my mom who has plantar fasciitis and has a really hard time finding shoes that don't aggravate her foot pain. Additionally, she usually needs to find wider width shoes. These fit her perfectly, although after a few weeks of hiking around she's asked for a half size up. They provide enough support that her nerve pain doesn't flare up which is a relief and has helped her be way more active!

I love the design of this sock and the overall softness. I have noticed that they get stretched out really quickly which means they can slouch and bunch. If I'm slumming around the house, they're perfect. If however, I'm wearing pants/shoes where they may show, I'll opt for something with a bit more structure.

If it were possible to fashion pure love into a shoe, it may come out pretty damn close the the Addie Double Zip. I actually bought these to go with a specific outfit, and figured it was a good excuse to stretch my shoe budget. I did not, however, expect to want to wear them all day every day. I had heard that Fryes are hard to break in, but not these. They were comfortable the first time I wore them and have only gotten better. I really love how solid the construction is - the heel has some substance to it, so the whole boot feels really stable. The leather is luxurious and smells divine and is softening without losing its structure. I could not be more pleased with this shoe.

I'm an avowed fan of Hydroflask, but particularly like both the size and logo of this specimen. I get comments on the updated goat & Backcountry branding all the live long day. I have a few of the big-daddy flasks, but I'm beginning to prefer this size just for ease of carrying. It fits into my backpack & purse easily without weighing me down.

I'm tall with a larger bust & I usually avoid infinity scarves because then end up looking like Elizabethan ruffs, but I tried this on and loved it. It's soft and drapes really gently, but because it's a little bit shorter (wrap twice for a loose drape, three times for asphyxiation), I don't get anywhere near the bulk on top of my.... bulk. It's warm, cozy, and the color way has this really great heritage feel to it. I'd grab this in several patterns if I could!

I love this lid. The magnet is the only thing keeping the slide in place which means there are no mechanical parts to break. It pops on and off easily which means it's super easy to clean and prevent any weirdness. Also super durable. I drop things like they're hit records, and this lid has survived it all.

These socks are soft and cozy & exactly the right thickness to provide cushion without affecting the fit of my shoes. Having said that, they are just baaaaarely too small for my size 11 feet. They do have a tendency to slip down on the back of the ankle while wearing, which I think is a function of the size and softness. But for just hanging out around the house, they're perfect.

I've now purchased a few Nixon watches for my husband as gifts, because they're one of the few gifts that he actually enjoys receiving. This one is particularly sleek and the green face has a rich tone that I love. The battery life is extensive and they stand up to a beating as a rule. Durability AND looks? Count me in.

I love all things Hydroflask, but this little bottle is a perfect size and a cooler color. I bought the kiwi as a gift since I use my big daddy flask all day every day, and now I think I have a friend for life in the recipient. Hydroflasks maintain temperature, are durable like your ol' Uncle Charlie who just won't die, and are easy to clean. Big love.

These are my go-to gifts this year. I pretend like I'm Oprah, because EVERYBODY gets a hydroflask! I got this one for my 10 year old niece who keeps her water bottle in her backpack which, naturally, gets banged around. The durability on these things is unmatched. Added bonus: I once had a lid that leaked and reached out to Hydroflask and they sent a replacement within a day!

This is my go to every thing cup. I fill it with coffee in the morning for my drive to work, hot tea for my first few hours and then cold water and tea for the afternoon. I love being able to use the same cup throughout the whole day and keep my beverage at the right temp. Added bonus: a few days ago, I dropped the cup and the lid popped off. I was instantly bummed, because I saw the slider had come off the plastic lid. Imagine my joy when I discovered that it's held in place simply by magnets (or magic? who can say?) and popped right back on. For a klutz like me it's a dream come true!

After my husband's wallet was stolen, I finally had the chance to upgrade him from his 20 year old high school tri-fold. He loves the sleek look & feel and announced that it doesn't hurt to have this one in his back pocket. So, for all of the sore, wallet-sitting bums, this is a win. I especially love that the driver's license pocket is mesh, so he doesn't have to take it out to show his ID. One less chance to lose it!
