Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: 12

I've worn Chacos for ~20 years. Apparently they have recently changed their footbed and strap sizing. The 2 older pairs of Z1's I still have are both 11M which is the size I have always worn. Suddenly this version is a full size smaller than the older ones in length. So I tried 12M in this latest version and the 12 is the same length as my old 11 but significantly wider. Plus the straps are at least 2 inches longer which makes it impossible for me to tighten them down all the way as the buckle bottoms out against the ankle strap.

I'm done with Chaco.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

The warmth to weight ratio of this vest is amazing. I have enjoyed standing in gale force winds with this vest over lightweight base layers. It can be easily stowed into a very small space yet bounced back to shape quickly. Not as bulky as a typical down garment yet just as warm. Fit is generous enough to work over a sweater or light fleece jacket. I do find it fits true to size as I have many other Columbia size medium items.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

An earlier review helped me decide to try these beanies so I will echo his comments on sizing. I too wear a M/L Giro bike helmet and these North Face hats fit me perfectly. They are snug but not too tight. They are very stretchy and I prefer a snug fit so wind doesn't sneak in around the ears. Also, I am a huge fan of the North Face Horizon hat. I had one, lost it, and bought two more. I figured if one North Face hat fits me well then another would too. It does.
For bitter cold and high wind I have a wind stopper hat. But for average chilly days and basic bummin' around these more breathable hats are fantastic. Super comfortable for running. The inner fleece headband adds warmth and my head does not get sweaty.
I can leave this on while driving or indoors without getting over heated.
