Jean Vandekieft's Bio

Hey I'm Jean, Michigan native with strong wanderlust. At a young age I found myself traveling all over the world with my family. I fell in love with the west and decided to live in Breckenridge Co for 6 years enjoying the snowboard bum life. In 2016 I visited the neighboring state of Utah where I found myself obsessing over the views, hikes, epic snowboarding, camping, climbing, and rad yoga studios. This quickly became my home so basically I'm a local now. On my days off you'll find me me getting into a magnitude of activities. Are you curious about the adventures? My camera is attached to my hip so be sure to follow along! @jeanqueenn

With a high waist and a 4 inch inseam I was able to feel comfortable knowing nothing I was secure in these shorts. Its hard these days finding shorts that don't show your butt crack or come up too short in the inseam. I got a million comments on how cute they are too! Safe for work and play. I was also stoked to see Topo makes an XS. I am a true 25 and they fit perfectly.
10/10 recommend.

Does It All

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I took this backpack traveling on a plane to Mexico. It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. And with 30L I got away with two carry-ons! It stands up on its own and doesn't attract dirt. I was thankful for all the pockets. One for my laptop, sunglasses, personal items, inside zipper pockets for clothing, and and outside pocket for easy access. Comfortable back pads for ensured comfort all day. And a sleek look good for any adventure. Also it stands up on its own, I was shocked and presently surprised.

Last weekend I took it on a camping trip in Moab and its still not dirty! Looking for a bag that does it all? Look no further!

Casually Comfortable

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 5"

The 32 inch hem falls perfectly to mid thigh. Kangaroo pocket for your chap-stick or car keys. This dress is made for comfort and it does not skip a beat. Made up of 35% cotton, 35% Tencel, 17% micro modal you will feel like your in your pajamas all day long. Spring nights here in Utah can get chilly and my go to is the Basin and Range Sunnyside Hooded Dress. Throw on your favorite jean jacket and boots for a casual yet comfortable night out.

Waterproof, Warm, & Eco-friendly

The Torsang Parka is waterproof, warm and Eco-friendly. I have first hand experience wearing this jacket on a cold and rainy day walking the streets of Vancouver. The Polartec fleece insulation kept me warm and the breathable fluorocarbon free PROOF two layer fabric with taped seams insured the warmth stayed in and the rain water stayed out.

One of my favorite things about this jacket is all the pockets! Two outer zipped, two snapped, inside zipper phone pocket and two more high zippered hand pockets. Also a soft zipper garage so no chaffed chin. The description reads regular fit but my opinion is that it fits slim. It is also much longer than pictured on model. This is by far my favorite parka in my closet, and I own a lot of jackets. In fact I wore it to work today! 10/10

The Ceptor offers dependable weather protection in any condition! The North Face uses a three-layer DryVent to make these bottoms bulletproof in wind, snow, and rain. Comfortable straps and enough room for women with a larger chest and strong legs. An added plus is that their are plenty of pockets for your ski pass, keys, and sunscreen.

I am normally a small or and extra small. If you have a petite build I suggest doing the extra small. The regular length was perfect for my height, with plenty of room to put over your snowboard boots.

Good to Go

Just like the description said this bag fit perfectly in the upper bin. Rolled flawlessly in the airport and on the snowy walkways of Whistler.
The charger kept my phone battery charged and came contently with all the charging cords needed.
The only reason why I give this bag a 4 instead of a 5 is because I wish it had a little more flex room when I picked a few souvenirs.

I have to say, this board bag is rad! It has enough storage space for all of your snowboard gear & street clothes for a week. It’s lightweight, easily maneuverable thanks to the handy wheels & has a separate boot pocket, which is really nice for a little internal organization. I do wish it had a second outside pocket, but one works! The interior material makes it so you don’t have to worry about it getting dirty, you can just wipe any grime from a muddy parking lot off with a paper towel (for those spring riding days when your boots get a little soggy).

I have owned way to many snowboard jackets in my life. This one has by far been my favorite. The length falls just past my bum for those times I fall. The sleeves are the perfect length to fall just over you gloves. My only complaint is it needs more pockets. I carry allot of things on the mountain and i like them to each have there own spot.

The color is perfect as pictured.
Perfect for everyday wear.
Very warm! I didn't even need a shirt under because it was so warm.
It does run a bit large but I like the oversize look. Plus it was so cozy I didn't want to send it back and wait for a new one.

The Best Zip Up

I absolutely fell in love with this zip up from the moment I put it on.
The inside feels like soft velvet, the outside has an athletic feel. This is my now favorite zip up for road trips, hiking, and layering under my snowboard jacket.
