First off, Topo recommends sizing up due to a slim fit and I agree. I typically buy a medium and purchased this in large. It has a slim fit but allows room for movement and more importantly...It provides coverage. Super soft interior and a hard face exterior. Meaning it will likely shed some moisture but isn't waterproof. At first I thought $90 for a sweatshirt was way too high and now I'm on my 3rd day of wearing it and considering getting more.

I've had these shoes for about a week now and love them. The removable footbed is comfortable despite minimal arch support. An insert can fix that for those that need it. Unlike many red wing boots I've had over the years these boots require no break-in of any kind. They truly felt like I'd had them for years on the first wear. The leather is super soft and needs some protectant for sure. They show wear marks quickly but I like a little character anyway.
Definitely worth noting is size. I wear a 10-10.5 in most everything. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they're still a slight bit loose. Red Wing recommends going a half size down from your normal size. Please order accordingly. I dont think you'll be disappointed.

Boot looks well made and seems warm although I am most certainly sending these back. At the recommendation of several reviews here AND from Sorel about these boots fitting slightly small I am SWIMMING in them. I wear a size 10 in everything and chose just a .5 size larger and I can fit a whole other foot in there. Pretty disappointed.

Honestly I don't like to start a review about a product with comments about another product but wow these shoes are wildly similar to Solutions. Same P3 downturned shape. Same dimple under that forefoot to take up dead space. Same suction cup of a heel. Same solid outside edge on the smallest of things. I have the same issue of getting that aggressive toe out of pockets:) I found that the Otaki is different in that the shape is more straight. Others have mentioned that the fit is wider but I have narrow feet and even with the Otaki one size down from my street shoe its still pretty snug. The heel on the Otaki is awesome. I've never really liked the heel on my Solutions and the Otaki keeps your foot from twisting when you weight it. I also feel like the rubber is a little stickier on the Otaki heel. Another suggestion I can make is that the women's Otaki is slightly softer than the men's so less wieght is needed to deform the shoe. Additionally it's slightly narrower if you feel like the men's shoe might feel sloppy. It's also not pink so you'll feel less obvious wearing women's shoe. I am a 43-44 in street shoe and sized my Otaki's to 42 for comfort. La Sportiva will typically recommend sizing down 2 sizes for "proper" fit.

I love how this covers my dome! When I turned it backwards yesterday I noticed I was instantly climbing a few grades higher. This hat fit great right out of the box. I have a pretty small head and this doesn't look huge on me by any means. The bill is pre-formed a little bit so if you're looking for a flat bill, this may not be the best choice for you. The only complaint I had was that the tag is tucked into the band of the hat and visible through the mesh. It looked pretty tacky and took some effort to cut it near the stitching without mucking the stitches up.

My lady loves these shoes. She's a beginner and climbs roughly 3 times a month. We sized them close to her street shoe size based on that frequency and the fact that they're synthetic and are not likely to stretch. She has a narrow foot so the narrow toe box on these shoes doesn't cause her much trouble. They do have a tag stating that the shoes can be washed though I'm still scared to do so. The shoe has moderately sticky rubber and having the rand separate the toe and heel rubber helps her to place her feet a little better.
