Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great little tool. It offers all of the tools of a much larger multi tool, but in a much smaller package. The smaller size and lower weight means I won't hesitate to carry this in a bike bag. The only draw back of the smaller size may be leverage when using the pliers. Mine has a small clip on the side which allows me to just clip it to the inside of a pocket.

I bought this hat for days when a ball cap simply won't cut it. So far this hat has seen days in the desert, as well as spring days in the snow in the mountains. For a secure fit it offers a chin strap, as well as an elastic strap that runs around your head. This leads to a very secure fit. I had no problem skiing in this hat. It also offers a vent in the upper portion to help keep you even cooler. As other reviewers have mentioned, you can just throw this hat in a bag and not worry about it losing shape, or getting crushed. Perfect for traveling.

Having run both Shimano metallic and resin pads, I prefer the resin pads. Lever feel between the two is similar, with a bit more modulation to be found with the resin pads. For lift served, repeated long descents look to the metallic pads. For more pedal powered riding these pads do a great job with the added benefit of being quieter, and providing a touch more modulation.

Having owned other premium quality racks, this one stacks up very nicely. Solidly built, and the anti wobble wedge gets the job done. I love that the trays can be offset to avoid seat/bar interference. The rack itself is relatively light compared to other platform racks. I have always had very good luck with Rocky Mounts products.

This is one of the best upgrades you can make to an older Lyrik/Pike for the money. The increased small bump sensitivity is immediately noticeable as well as better mid stroke support. Installation is also fairly straight forward for the home mechanic. All this for under $50.

I purchased these for my wife as a gift. She is an aggressive skier with a need for a high volume boot. Along with that she loves the wider cuff of womens specific boost. Finding a wide, stiff, womens boot seems next to impossible....until now. On top of that they are super light. Like as light as my AT boots light.

I purchased these for my father as a gift. He is notorious for folding down the backs of his shoes out of convenience and usually destroying the shoes in the process. With these that is no longer an issue. He just flips down the heel and goes. If he needs a little extra support he flips it back up. They look great and are also super comfortable. He has a fairly wide foot.

Recently purchased these for my toddler.
As others have mentioned they have a great gauntlet/snow skirt to allow for the mitten to be pulled up over a jacket. Also, my little guy loves the monster graphics! DaKine makes great stuff!

After trying a number of telemark bindings these are my favorite. At 210 lbs and skiing hard I tend to break things. These have been super durable. If you do have an issues Chris and Collins (the owners of the company) are quick to respond to and get you what you need. In addition they ski great. More powerful than a hammerhead, and none of the slop that might be found in a touring binding.
