Just got back from a great traverse of Devil's Castle above Alta. The Vibram outsole was definitely appreciated on some of the gritty and sandy exposed sections. More supportive and comfortable than the Lone Peaks that I have used in the past. Super comfy right out of the box and great to wear if you job has you on your feet all day!

Synthetic insulation has really come a long way! This bag stuffs to about the same size as 650 fill power down and as 800 fill power down bag. This bag is the beast option for super wet environments.

This bag is a vast improvement over the normal Trestles bag. It has a new synthetic insulation that addresses the two main shortfalls of synthetic insulation - bulk and weight. The Trestles Elite gets fairly close to being as compressible and light as some down bags. A great value!

Amazing Pertex fabric. This is a true waterproof/breathable laminate. Plus it even has zipped hand warmer pockets. I have fairly long arms and the fit is ideal, especially with the stretch. The Turkish Tile color is very cool - good visibility, but not obnoxious.

This is feels, works and wears a lot like to time tested DriClime jacket. I used it a lot this winter ski touring. It is a great aerobic piece since it breaths so well. Very compactable. Awesome with a light shell on those blustery days. I can see myself using it a lot in the spring/fall seasons at the crag.

I really like the combination of a top loading back and a huge zippered J panel. It offers great access, but also the benefits of a top loader(expansion, easier to stuff items into, top lid, etc.). Plus the the pack is nice and lightweight, but still sturdy and durable enough to trust it on a long backpack trip.

Great fit, great price & great performance. Extremely comfortable forefoot, but also a very secure heel fit. No blisters or black toenails! I've been skiing in Garmonts for years and this boot fits me much better. I ski 105-110mm skis in the Wasatch and the performance is superb. Really don't need any beefier of a boot, even when skiing in resort. The single upper cuff buckle is very simple and functional.
