Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Sea to Summit Duffel is a great bag for the price. It is hardier than both the North Face Base Camp Duffel bag and the Patagonia Black Hole Duffel bag. I have an Osprey Transporter 40l and this bag compares very well to it. It is a little more water resistant and burly than the Transporter. The Sea to Summit Duffel holds a little bit more as well. I plan on using it in a few weeks for travel. It is carry on size and is also great to bring on camping trips. The bag is simple and efficient. For the price, this bag is a great travel companion. I plan on using it for a trip to Redwoods National Park. I will post an update after more extensive use.

This is a great base layer. It keeps you warm while wicking away the moisture. The shirt does run small though. I initially ordered a large and had to return it for an XL. The shirt does have an athletic fit and that fits me perfectly because I am muscular and lean. Overall, this shirt rivals the Patagonia base layers I have and it is only half the price.

This bag is great. First, I measured it and it would count as carry on for most domestic airlines. Second, it is super durable. The bag can take a beating. Third, the bag is versatile. I used it both as carry on and as my daypack. The water bottle holder is awesome and the compartments are well thought out. I love the sunglasses compartment as well. Fourth, the trailkit is comfortable when carrying it. I had it go through the paces of the Atlanta airport and on multiple day hikes. Finally, the trailkit holds a lot of stuff. The shoe compartment, side pockets, and main compartment can hold enough stuff for about 4-5 day trip. For me, I put 2 jackets, toiletries, and enough clothes for a five day trip.

I just bought this layer a few weeks ago and love it. It is perfect for those cooler days with no wind. It also fits great under other mid layers such as a Proton AR, Atom LT, and Nano Air. The fit is slim. I am 5'11 and muscular and a large fits me well. I am definitely taking this piece to Acadia because it is a great jacket to walk in without overheating.

I just bought this bag and it is great! I have the Patagonia Black duffel and loved it, but this bag is better. The Transporter is better for several reasons. First, it is much hardier. The fabric that Osprey makes it out of is much sturdier. And both the handles and the zippers are very well thought out and rugged. Second, the size is much better for a carry on. It fits in the overhead bin easily. And it definitely meets the requirements for carry on luggage for most major domestic airlines. Third, the comfort level is better. Both the shoulder strap and the backpack straps are well-padded and and carry the load well. And finally, the shape of the bag allows for more items to be packed even though it is smaller. I already took this bag through the airport and it went smoothly. I was able to pack two jackets, clothes, and toiletries for 4 days easily in it. Again, the Black Hole duffel is great, but this bag is better.

Bought this piece several years ago and have used it for every camping and hiking trip I have ever gone on. It is a great piece to do aerobic activities in. Now, I will say this, the Patagonia Nano Air breathes better, but the Atom LT does protect from wind much better. The Atom LT has performed well for me in both the Canyonlands of Utah to the Appalachian Mountains. It is so versatile. Great piece!

This bag is a great carry on. I packed jackets, toiletries, and clothes for 5 days for a trip to Utah with it. The backpack straps are great while going through the airport. I had to walk 1/2 mile through Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to get to my terminal and I was comfortable. This bag is perfect for trips up to 4 or 5 days. And I just took this bag on a 3 day trip to Nashville and had room to spare in the bag while packing toiletries, clothes, and jackets. Great bag.

I took the 90L version of this bag to Utah for a trip to the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. It held all of my gear. This included 2 person tent, 20 degree sleeping bag, daypack, boots, food, water bottles, pillow, and sleeping pad. I even had room to store some stuff I bought while there. Great bag and it held up to the elements and the luggage carriers at the airport. No issues at all with this bag. The backpack straps are really good too and help out a lot while going through the airport.

I have taken this duffel bag on several trips. Most recently, I took it on a five day hiking trip to Utah. The bag held my jackets, toiletries, and five days worth of clothes fine. The best part is that it is carry-on size with an inch or two to spare. I had no problem fitting everything into it. I also had no problem putting it into an overhead bin on both flights. It is a great bag for any trip 5 days and under. It is surprisingly roomy for only being a 45L bag. The only downer is that you can't wear it like a backpack, but that is to be expected of a bag this size. I walked half a mile with it through the busiest airport in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson, with only the shoulder strap and was quite comfortable. This is a great travel bag. Period.

Great jacket. Just bought it. It is like a hybrid of an Atom LT, a Patagonia Nano Air, and a softshell. It breathes better than the Atom. I won't go so far as to say it breathes better than the Nano Air, but it is close. It has been a great jacket for 20-30 degree days. The Proton AR also layers easily under a shell (for me a Beta AR and Theta AR). The jacket is great for hiking and great for around town use. It is an athletic fit. So, if you are buff or have a gut, then you may want to buy a size up. I am 200 lbs and muscular, so, the large fits well.
