Perfect for anything, I own two
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is without question the most versatile and well-made tent I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Perfect for two people with room for your gear and even your dog to snuggle up at your feet. I originally purchased this tent two years ago and since then have taken it on multiple car camping trips, music festivals, and several backpacking trips including a 2 night run of the Pemigewasset Wilderness Loop in the beautiful white mountains of New Hampshire. Although it is slightly heavier than what most would prefer for a lightweight multi-day backpacking trip of a 30+ mile loop I had absolutely no complaints and on the second night even through heavy rains and winds we stayed perfectly dry including our gear stored just outside of the doors. After multiple experiences with this tent I will never own another tent not made by this company, I love it so much that during a backcountry sale I purchased a second one of the same model and now I use my first one strictly for music festivals (as anyone who attends them knows, sometimes things get a little crazy and tents can get a few holes in them.) Bottom line is after well over 100 miles of backpacking a dozen or more car camping trips and several music festivals this tent still performs like the day I originally got it, without so much as a single tear or even discoloration. Anyone looking for the perfect tent for two people that’s versatile enough to use for everything don’t hesitate and get this tent! And if you are trying to shed every ounce possible to really put some miles on the trail, they even make an ultralight model that shaves about 9 oz. off of the overall weight

Osprey is truly the gold standard!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pack is incredible like every product Osprey makes! Recently used this pack for a 3 day trip in the White Mountains PEMIGEWASSET WILDERNESS in N.H. This thing was loaded with around 60 pounds of gear and I was sill feeling great after +12 miles on steep loose rocky trails. I loved how I was able to use the red iner strap on the top as a small divider by laying my spyder sweater on it and stuffing my other clothes on top while keeping my gear (Jetboil, sleeping pad, food ect) in the bottom to access with the front side zipper. The top daylid is just genius! I used it for every from quick walks off the main course to hauling our full hydro bladders back from the stream. I should also say the above mentioned hydro bladders are also Osprey brand and also the best, I have used quite a few but will never use another. I really cant say enough good things about this pack, it fits so much and feels great on your back for 8+ hours. I should mention I also had the belt molded at a local Osprey dealer (but purchased it here because Backcountry rocks!) however I molded it a bit to tight to me and it was a bit of a pain to get on because it had so much curve to them. My own fault so no points off to the pack! I am a smaller guy, 5 foot 10 and around 150 with a 30 inch waist the medium fit me perfect. I also own a 35L Stratos pack and a 50L Atmos, I love them all and after my dog chewed a hole in one to get a snack they replaced if free of charge. Keep on rockin and flying high Osprey!

Most efficient, no, coolest hell yes!!

All you should really take away from this review is this, I am an avid sunglass collector and own eight pairs of Ray-Ban‘s and three pairs of Oakley‘s, and my Madmen are my every day go to glasses. There was another review that speaks very poorly of these saying they have poor eye coverage, it is true that as far as top-of-the-line glasses go they do not have the best I coverage. There are slight points when looking far to the left or right where you can look through the open bridge, that being said after two days of wearing them you completely get used to it. Now on the positive side these are incredibly comfortable to wear, with a three point fit in the spring hinges the way they fit on my face is absolutely perfect for wearing throughout the day and compared to other glasses they leave no marks on my face after hours of use. I wear them hiking quite frequently and even at work around the job, and after hours of sweating they don’t loosen up or move whatsoever, I even jumped in the water once with them on not knowing I was still wearing them and they stayed on! Look the bottom line is this, these are not the sunglasses you buy to completely incase your eyes, these are the glasses you buy to look bad ass and received tons of comments about!

So I have always been a conventional belt guy for every day use and outdoor adventures. I initially purchased this belt because I just thought it looked cool and was worth a try, when I first took it out of the box and started wearing it I was a little reluctant as to the overall feel but it has done nothing but get better with time. I’ll definitely admit that it takes a little getting used to flicking a lever to undo your belt but I have worn it every day for two weeks and as a Carpender I work in an active job field, it has not pinched or loosened up once in that time. Not only has it functioned amazingly and only gotten more comfortable, it looks amazing! In fact I just ordered another one to use for every day use and keep this one for the nights I go out on the town. I should also add that as I am a fairly skinny guy, the ability to easily adjust the Lankes was great, with just a simple flick of a lever you can release the buckle from the belt and easily cut off whatever access length you need with a sharp knife. I used a lighter to singe the end so it didn’t come unfreight, but the construction of the buckle appears that even if you didn’t do this it wouldn’t pose any problems for you in the future. Overall an excellent product and I see it lasting for years to come. If you are like me and looking to upgrade one of the most essential pieces to casual, work, and adventure attire, order two a leather one for going out and a cloth one for work and playing outside!
