I've been wearing Brooks Adrenaline shoes for probably almost a decade now. I occasionally wander to other shoes and other brands, but always come back to my old-steady Adrenaline. This years shoe doesn't disappoint. I have a mild-to-moderate pronation and relatively collapsing arch, these have moderate arch support and are nicely cushioned for mid- to longer runs. As a nice bonus, this years model is quite a bit more attractive than previous years (not a big fan of black and neon green or some of the others). Would strongly recommend, but as always, make sure you try a pair on and see how they fit your feet before buying a pair online.

Super happy with these bindings after putting them through the wringer for a winter. I never thought the toe guides would be a big deal, but they have made stepping in infinitely easier than any bindings I've used in the past. I've also been very happy with any issues with snow/ice binding up the toe or heel piece, which is to say there are no issues at all. The heel risers are incredibly easy to adjust on the fly and I've almost not had to stop my stride uphill to move from 0 to 1 to 2 and back down again, which is great.
Also, though not its intended use, I rode these bindings a fair amount inbounds, mostly on s**tty concrete PNW crude. The bindings held nicely and never released inappropriately. Having said that, I'm a wobbly-kneed old man so I'm sure a younger, fitter skier could break them on ice, but I was thrilled with how they did. Five stars, would ride again....

These are fantastic, great price and nice clean product. I agree very much with other reviewers in that you ought to ad a touch of glue. I also opted to screw them in rather than hammer them in, and generally followed the outline here: http://www.threeballclimbing.com/climbing_wall_plans/20install4prongtnuts.htm
Couple things to note: I just used a 1x4 rather than 2x4 because the bolts I had were shorter and if you're going to use Gorilla glue (a great product) please wear gloves...I can tell you the story another time. Also, I strongly agree with using lubrication, it really does make a big difference. As with most things in life, lube makes everything better.

Fantastic starter set

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I made my 2 year old a small climbing wall for her birthday. We had (almost) two full pieces of plywood, but had to cut off about 8 inches from the top so had a total of 54 bolted holds in a 8x8 pattern. Between the bolted holds and screw ons in this pack the wall filled up pretty nicely (knowing that we wanted it a little extra dense as it was made for a 3 foot tall toddler), and could make it much more dense if we wanted to add on some of the additional footholds, but not really worth it quite yet. As other reviewers have noted, all the large holds come individually packed and in flawless condition, no chips or other issues. Great set.
