Jack Fullmer's Bio

The mountains are my sanctuary. I'm stoked to be back in the Wasatch after a jaunt in the Cascades! You might find me free-heeling at Alta, climbing on the weekend, and bike commuting thru Salt Lake.

Good tent for a good price

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Had to the opportunity to take this tent out to Escalante National Monument in the spring to see if it held up to it's iconic name. The tent was more than up for a 3-day pack trip and even held tough through a heavy rainstorm. The tent is a great, casual tent at a good price. One thing I'd like to see improved upon is that there wasn't a drawstring on the storage bag, which was inconvenient and a bit disorganized. Overall I'd recommend this for short camping trips, less than 3-4 days.

Used this sleeping bag on a 3-day trip in the spring through Escalante National Monument. During this time we experienced hot nights around 60 degrees and one night below-freezing. The bag kept me warm on the coldest night and zipped down easily to keep me comfortable on the warm night. The bag packs down nicely and is great for car camping or short backpacking trips.

Shirt looks great and is really breathable, making it ideal for the summer. I got the midnight color, which goes really well with the sunset. The shirt is pretty thin, which has its pros and cons, but good for the summer.

Shirt looks great and is made with top-quality materials and sewing. The has a wider fit, that's not necessarily athletic, but not the boxy Columbia-style fit, either. It works well with broader shoulders. Definitely recommended!

This shirt has become one of my favorites in no time at all. The shirt has a new take on the classic dark-side of the moon design, which will get you a lot of compliments. The material used is durable, yet breathable to make it extremely comfortable. It has a longer length too, so for me going with a M worked well.

Shoes work fine and do the job, but are one of my least favorite running shoes I've owned. The shoes are a little heavier, but most of all it feels like the rubber sole and boost foam counter-act each other. I notice myself getting tired with these more than my others. I still use them for hiking and do enjoy them for that.

Got this glove for touring and spring skiing and I immediately fell in love with it. I used these gloves on 5-day yurt trip, immediately followed by 5 days at the resort and I never got wet or too sweaty. They fit true to size and and really easy to take on and off.- also very comfortable. Ideal gloves for high-activity winter sports or more casual spring skiing. Given 4/5 stars since the finger began to tear (after 30 days of grueling use though!)

Saw the shirt on sale and thought I'd pick it up. So glad I did! I immediately got a lot of compliments (and a few joking remarks about wearing a hawaii shirt while it's snowing). The shirt has an athletic cut, but manages to fit in broader shoulders. The material has been very durable and well crafted. Highly recommended!

Love the look of the shirt, which gives me an athletic, somewhat outdoorsy, but clean look. The shirt is super comfortable, durable, and a little heavier than you'd think (but I like that). My one complaint is that after washing it fits tight on the shoulders and upper back. I feel like I fit athletic mediums to a T and usually don't have this problem.

They collapse easily, super lightweight, and they don't inconveniently collapse when you don't want them to. The utensils could be a little longer, but then they'd also take up more room and be a little heavier. Great buy for something that will last!
