J.Englemanwrote a review of Union Cadet Snowboard Binding on March 4, 2006
When I broke two pairs of the same Dynastar binding, I knew I needed to look for better bindings with aluminum heelcups, and the Cadet was one of the first bindings I found. Being in college, I am on a horrible budget, so after searching I went back to the Cadet and read deeper about the bushing system and all, I figured a binding is a binding. I put these on right when I got them and it did take me a while to get used to my boot being a little higher off the board from the gas pedal system, but I found the binding to be very balanced and, while a little heavier than my last pair, a lot sturdier and more responsive from edge to edge. It seems it's easier now to control my edge of lips before I spin and I feel an overall control I haven't felt before even from companies such as Dynastar, Liquid, and 5150, so this is a real product here.
