Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 175 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I’ve been using this puffy as a mid layer and an outer layer from climbing to going out to dinner. Perfect for when the temps drop cause it’s super warm and also lightweight and packs small. I like the no hood for layering so it doesn’t get in the way and bulk up. Also when wearing a backpack with a waist strap the pockets don’t interfere because they’re slightly raised!

Super hyped on my Tracker 3! After upgrading to this from an old simple beacon that only did single body detection I was slightly lost at first. However, after a little time doing beacon practice and reading the manual I couldn't believe what I'd been missing. The multiple burial detection is simple and makes searching easier especially with the close proximity feature and big picture mode. These features definitely made me feel like I had a better understanding of the situation during beacon practices over my previous beacon.
Beyond just the beacon, the removable attachment clip is perfect for clipping into the beacon pocket of my pants and the beacon is small and light so it doesn't weight my pants down. Although, I've started using the shoulder harness that comes with it more often because it's super comfy and I don't even notice it's on when I'm out in the backcountry (shoutout to that shoulder pad).

I have used these all winter, touring about 5 miles a week, and they show very little signs of wear. They're super grippy and won't slip back even when the people around you are. The glue is also still sticky and I haven't had to do any maintenance on them. When cutting them, I recommend using a marker to draw the cutting lines for the tail connector. Makes it super easy!

This is the largest shovel I could find that would fit in all of my backpacks avy-gear compartments. I've used it for the past couple months for building jumps, digging my sled out, snow pits, and beacon rescue practice. It is pretty square so it works great for making a flat wall in a snow pit. I've also accidentally put the tip of it into a rock while digging a couple times now but you can hardly tell from looking at it. Overall its my favorite shovel that I've owned

Great size to fit everything I need for a day in the backcountry. I use the left shoulder strap to hold the airbag Trigger and right shoulder strap for my 2L water bladder. It also has a plethora of loops on the outside for which almost anything can be attached. The simplicity of the pack makes it really enjoyable to use and gives easy access to anything I have stored.
